If Sky sports stopped bidding for the scottish football rights, I'd bin them yesterday. The Bundesliga, Ligue 1, Serie A, La liga, Champions league and Europa are all on BT/Premier. It annoys me sky don't just let BT take all the rights, they're far superior and actually care but sky must want the rights for a reason.
After the boxing goes, there's only the few games on sky worth paying for. Sooner sky get to, the better.

Tbh a lot of the reason it was one sided was of that ref, he was terrible. Talk about supporting the home fighter. The cards would of been a bit closer and the fight far more entertaining had we gotten a decent ref.

Let BT take the rights. Lol

BT sports talked the big game on how much they value Scottish football. Soon as it came to bidding for the rights they sent in a lowball offer. Sky didn't have to break the back to win them rights.

Also I can guarantee you that BT sport will be gone quicker then sky sports my friend.

Aye, let BT take the rights. Everything about BT is better. The pundits are in a different league to the nonsense sky serve up, and the programme length etc, BT put effort in, Sky couldn't give a turd.
Absolutely nobody prefers sky's coverage of scottish football, it's horrific at best of times.

    Huge blow for DAZN.

Telegraph reporting that PL rights could be rolled over, meaning BT, Sky and Amazon retain the rights. No open auction keeps DAZN out.

If Hearn thinks people are going to pay £10 a month for a boxing channel, he is seriously deluded.

It's still early days and we need to see how this plays out but already looking like a mistake for Barry's son. But if Frank can find a way to survive then so can Eddie, the snake no doubt has a few tricks up his sleeve.

I’m not convinced purchasing PL rights over here was ever part of their business model.

If they don’t get Premier League on their UK platform, they will be the btec version of Sky Sports and BT Sport. You need PL Rights, whether it’s 20 or 40 Games. As it’s a guaranteed subscription driver and means you’re a serious player.

ESPN+ in the States do not have live NFL rights and has been a massive success without having rights to the number one sport in the country.

One sport does not a successful sports streamer make, and having PL rights is no guarantee of success, see Setanta and ESPN U.K.

I knew this would get announced/thrashed out as soon as the boozers opened. The power of the boozer is remarkable!
