Clear duck, imo. It's universally understood that the site fee was the last item, which also makes sense because Pac went ahead and signed. Bud has repeatedly and publicly begged for the fight. If he truly wanted the fight, he would have signed the contract as soon as he received it.
Bud might be ducking but 100 percent he F-Ducking his career with his resume for a guy with so much talent
Look there's a reason why Manny has spent the last two and bit decades dining down at the Elite Eatery with the occasional sojourn down at the B Level Bistro and Crawford has dined exclusively down at the C Level Canteen and the D Level Diner. Manny's cut from a completely different cloth and when you compare the size of his plums to Terry's it's akin to comparing our Sun to Pluto. Not wanting that smoke with a senior citizen who is approaching their 43rd birthday who hasn't fought in two years who you're way bigger, younger, heavier and longer than is a really bad look but the E-Spence fans need to put a sock in it because their boy has been playing the barking dogs on either side of the fence game with Terry too and he's only fought two world class natural 147 pounders in his entire career and he struggled badly against both even though one was damaged goods and nowhere near their best for a whole variety of reasons and they both should've been coming off losses. A natural big and strong 154 beating up on blown up 135 pounders fighting in their 5th division whose KO percentages above 135 = zero and career 140 Paulie level featherfists who are 1-2 in their last 3 or who should've been ain't nothing to write home about.
You're reaching. Crawford may have simply been waiting on the most important details being finalized. If Crawford was really "ducking", he would more likely never have entertained a contract in the first place. But I understand fans like to run with narratives that involve "ducking".
When one person signed the contract, logic dictates that the terms were all agreed upon. Otherwise, he wouldn't have signed the contract. Maybe Bud has been having nightmares of Gamboa... But a faster, more powerful, and better one.
So what? He signed a contract for a fight where the backing fell through. Meaning the single most important part of the equation fell apart.
Uhmm... except for the fact that there WAS an outstanding item, which just so happened to be the single most important item required to make the fight. The finances were non-existent.
I thought the big money wasn't put up by the wallets in Abi Dabai or where ever the fight was going to take place.
Guy, do you really need it spelled out? Of course the contract and fight are CONTINGENT on the site fee being secured. It's in the contract. Pac signing tells me both received the final, everything-agreed-upon-version. And the contract would become official once the second the site funds are signed. The negotiations have been going on forever.
