If you follow MMA at all, you'd know that Askren lived and died by his wrestling ability. He was a world-class wrestler in his prime. An Olympian. You don't become a world-class wrestler without some athletic gifts. But he is in no way, shape or form a boxer or a striker. He would admit that. He would even admit he's not physically suited to that. He was probably the worst striker of his era in the UFC. He was chosen as Paul's opponent for a reason. I give Paul credit for being serious about boxing but the match with Askren was a clown show. You guys thar are looking at this as some sort of judgment on boxing versus MMA are off in the weeds. Even in his old decrepit state, in a fight that allows grappling, Askren rips Paul's jaw off his face and shoves it down his throat.
Personally think a darts player or snooker player would have a better chance at beating a top UFC in the cage than a UFC fighter would have of beating someone like Paul Logan in the squared circle
I hope you don`t think that about Jorge`s chin too after he got pole axed by one of the hardest shots I`ve ever seen, Usman v Paul! We need to see it.
