Yeah I heard he used to turn Danny Murrell quite a lot Many others heard it too and that's why I believe he left twitter
Literally neither of them are doing anything worth doing there, and both look **** poor. Turning is okay when you’re Lomachenko and you do it after making your opponent miss - slip the long straight, roll under the shot whilst turning your feet 90 degrees to make your opponent wide open or just look daft. Dave is literally grabbing this novices arm and pulling him around, which is illegal. If he had a good ref (in an actual fight) he would be bollocked and ticked off, and if he had a good opponent they would hold their lead arm out for him to grab before smacking him with the back hand as he’s wide open trying to do this stupid nonsensical move. Every time he edges back to get a bit more likeable he just shows why he’s a loser
You're missing out on the fact that property investing is just that... an investment - his tenants are paying off the mortgages on those properties and he will have a nice amount of equity accumulating.
I'd like to see him "turn" someone his own size, he should follow these clips with some of him going life and death with the 4th best Heavyweight in Argentina. According to Boxrec Dave Allen is 48th in the World, wtf.
https://www.bbc.co.uk/sport/boxing/56806740 The 28-year-old wrote: "I just want to set the record straight that I have not retired! "I have been asked so many questions and heard some rumours that I have. I am currently setting up my life in the Algarve outside of boxing for myself and my family before I go again!" But one man who did retire and now says he will return is British heavyweight Dave 'The White Rhino' Allen. The refreshingly honest 29-year-old, who has battled gambling addiction and mental health issues in his past, called time on his career in November. But the fans' favourite says: "I do fully intend on returning to boxing in 2021, hopefully just after the summer. Rumours? This is what he put out in November 2020. I had to laugh at "refreshingly honest". Nearly everything that comes out of his mouth is nonsense! "The reason for me calling it a day is simple, I don't want to get punched anymore," said Allen. "Long gone are the days of the kid from Donny who just wants to fight." He added: "All I want now is a nice quiet life with a wife and some kids, healthy and happy getting nice and fat." The reason for him calling it a day is because he and Dorian Darch agreed to throw a fight, the last fight they'd each have as they knew they weren't going anywhere other than low level domestic fights and European labourers. It was such a blatant fix and although I actually think that Darch is alright and a decent enough person it is a joke how this never got punished, Allen didn't even really hurt him and it all looked so set up, the fact that there were all those bets on was no coincidence.
Had a quick look at Dave’s IG stories while passing time on a zoom call this morning. The angle that he’s pushing is that he’s only decided to return to boxing to use his name to get the fighters he is managing on some fight cards. He also said that he was unsuccessful in getting his fighters onto Matchroom cards and too right really, those sorts of slots need to be earned. He also then contradicted himself by responding to a question and admitting that another reason for coming back is because all of the tv work he was promised after “retiring” didn’t materialise. So again, looks like Allen was just banking on being gifted a punditry role on Sky. Hearn probably had enough of Allen’s bull**** and lack of application over the years and too right. He’s basically pissed up chances that others can only dream of.
As if you deleted your original reply and still felt the need to respond again a few days later you absolute dog nonce Tragic
I can't handle any more sob stories, I'm so glad he isn't a pundit either, he'd be dreadful. He's a rubbish version of Chuck Wepner.
