You can say Mayweather was risk adverse, but he did have immediate rematches with the two guys who gave him the most trouble. I mean who can you truly say he ducked? Name a fighter, and a viable time he could’ve fought them, and why he didn’t. Or do you mean risk adverse in the ring?

The whole career Manny is better and fought guys when they were better. He fought anyone. There is not a question. Floyd avoided and it was out in the open.

Clearly because he couldn't get up to 154. I also meant people where picking Canelo to win, not lose. Canelo had the weight advantages being bigger and stronger. So what are u talking about?

Floyd handpicks and gets advantages. Sort of like the Hagler and post Leonard. At least Ray did not have a catchweight for Hagler. although for Duran Marvin was I think 157..

Manny wins when it comes to who he fought and the wars he was in. Floyd cannot compete. He cannot wait for years to fight Manny and after Manny lost to JMM, and say he has a better career just on that. It was a good win, but not a great one. Manny was old.. Delahoya was old. Shane was old. JMM was light. You go down the list of Floyd's career and he does not have one fight or great win like Leonard has with Duran or Hearns or Benitez. Not one. Not against that level. That hurts his legacy. Being undefeated is great, but if you didn't fight guys who were tops you cannot claim the best ever.

True enough, said this a few days ago and only one folk came up with was Gatti lol,his win against a green Canelo was great but you could say it’s the easiest fight he’d ever had the way he dealt with him.
Nice to see guys like Kellerman see through that zero BS and rate Manny wins and losses against guys in their prime such as Cotto,Margarito,Marquez and the rest of those legendary Mexican fighters he fought.
I’d never take anything away from Floyds accomplishments and it’s likely he would of won anyway but it’s also likely he’d have the odd draw or loss from fighting those names in their prime?least Manny gets credit for it and like most greats he won’t be judged by his losses, only his willingness to take on anyone.

Yet Cotto said Mayweather is the best fighter he has ever fought.
Ya see Max cannot speak for a guy who actually fought them both or fought at all looooooool

De La Hoya was 34 when Floyd fought him

Manny fought De la hoya many years after Floyd beat him which means manny fought an even older de la hoya

Mosley was 39 when Floyd fought him after his biggest win. Manny fought him after making him even older when manny fought him

Floyd was old as mosley when manny fought him so an old floyd fought and beat manny

If marquez was light delahoya was lighter coming down to 147 after being at 154 for 10 years and having a dehydration clause.

If you really want to have the conversation about who fought who, Mayweather fought always withing the top 5 except for maidana......Manny did not. Not only did manny not fight the top fighters he spent 2 years getting beat by 140 pounders making them move up in weight and then went down to 140 to beat up Brandon Rios. Is this fighting tops. meanwhile floyd fights top 5.

manny is above floyd in atg rankings. the separation can only get bigger. he dont even have to beat these top guys to add to his legacy, he can just get a split decision loss and it will add. thats just the way it is.

    Lets talk about it.

What puts him ahead in atg?

Lets be exact, lets not just say it because it feels good.

    That's... not "many years," moron.

    And... dehydration clause?

And Manny never went down to 140 to fight Rios?

If you're gonna hate, gather some facts first?
