Lopez landed a perfect shot (it's boxing), but Keith shut him out the other 10 or 11 rounds. Keith was undefeated, more active than he had been versus when Porter and Danny fought him, and Pac was 40 years old and the much smaller man.

    Deal with it.

Is Barerra and Morales really Better wins over a De La Hoya in his own weight class at 154 pounds and Canelo Alverez?

Honestly I would take Canelo over both of them. 1 jr middle weight and champion 42-0 30 kos now #1 Fighter in the world and in all honesty is going to be the best Mexican boxer of all times.

Paquiao settled for the easier Margarito.

I like Morales and Barerra though.

you have to explain the top half of Floyds resume though.

there are endless factors that can be taken into account when determining how valuable of a win each individual fight is. age, point in fighters career, subsequent performances of each fighter, etc... i have done that.
i dont put near as much weight on the canelo fight as you do. canelo was not an elite fighter. he was world class, like andrade or charlo, but he was not the fighter that barrera or morales were. elite fighters, complete fighters. today hes very much in that group, but it took thousands of hours of gym time and top level competition to get him there from the floyd loss.

Certainly Elite as the only fighter at 154 that could beat him was Mayweather
Charlo and Andrade wasnt on the p4p list. Canelo was.

I suppose we will just have to agree to disagree my stance is firm Canelo 42 wins p4p champion #1 jr middleweight was elite and certainly a better win than little barrera and morrales. Much more danger. As he right after beat angulo, cotto, lara who i thought would win and then kirkland. Right after and within 2 years. So much for the too green theory

You can't be when you get schooled by a shot pbf lose to a bum in horn lose to a faded erik Morales and get ktfo by a guy pbf shut out. Not to mention other loses in there as well. Pac wasn't fighter of the decade for good reason.

Horrible argument. Tarver isn't a hof fighter let alone an atg. Pbf is both.:deal: you can't make that comparison.

He beat a shot Morales and lost to a faded erik Morales. Morales should never be brought up to prop up Pac's resume it wasn't a good win. A shot Morales wouldn't even be one of PBF's top 25 wins.

Pac didn't beat an elite erik Morales he lost to that version. He beat a shot erik Morales who had just lost to Raheem. Pac has a history of fighting guys coming off loses and his fans proclaiming them as great wins.
