Why are Canelo's failed drug tests always swept under the rug?

It's hilarious how most sports fans are so wet behind the ears so as to believe that their heroes are not juiced to the gills.

Alvarez may be on the hot sauce, but so is everyone else. The only advantage he may have over some is that he can afford a more sophisticated "medical team", legal outfit and has the financial resources to hand out appeasing brown paper envelopes.

People defend Canelo with the "oh it was trace amounts" or "but hair follicle tests proved he was innocent.". No. 1. Depending on when he stopped using Clen and when he was tested would determine the amount in his system..quite easily found information.. And 2. Hair follicle tests for clenbuterol are unreliable and results can widely vary based on hair colour

The facts are Clen was in his system and the physical changes in Canelo are consistent with some abuse of PEDs. Disappearance of stamina issues whilst going up in weight, whilst also being insanely shredded. Look at the guys freaking head and neck it's damn changed size of the years.

From what is quite obvious, he's on a stack let alone just Clen.. But oh noo it was the Mexican contamination excuse.. Which you can pretty much use anytime if you are a Mexican athlete caught with Clen because its a convenient easy excuse to fool the fanboys

Its clear as day that hes on the sauce just look at him the higher in weight he goes the more ripped he looks it defies logic.

But to his fanboys hes the nature boy its all natural hes just on some intensified meat products like Ric Flair used to say lol.

What's good Busta :beer-toast1: In their defence, I wouldn't expect most 18 years olds to have done a cycle haha. You're right though when they talk about clen being 'trace amounts', but then criminalise those that have been popped for stim based pre-workouts. Shadow and 22JM are up there with the worst.

Don't you love it though, thread after thread about Pacquiao being on the juice. Not once has he failed a test. Canelo fails multiple tests but gets a pass.

That's because you can't. GGG has never failed a test. Unlike your steroid filled Mexican hero :wanker:wanker:wanker
Then again, it doesn't stop you from posting about Pacquiao, even though he has never failed a test.

Don't let that get in the way of the narrative, brother. You can speak with logic and reason, but they will default back to their same old broken record. Ah well, their loss. Boxing is much more enjoyable with 2 eyes open...

“...and then you see guys like Canelo aggresively get PPV headliners and big money while failing drug tests and you have to admit it....life...is...not...fair”.:))

The only people talking out their aze hole about PEDs are those who believe Canelo is on something. The clenbuterol situation screams meat contamination. But those who don't like him are in denial about it due to their irrational envy of Canelo. It's really as simple as that.

Break it down for us. How exactly is this 'meat contamination' theory plausible?
Give me scientific facts, backed by supporting evidence. Go.

The stamina issues disappearing as he moved up in weight can be attributed to the fact that he no longer has to cut weight to make 154. Many people for years were saying that he should have been fighting at higher weights, and was killing himself to make 154. He also hasn't really had to maintain a high work rate since he fought GGG. His so-called stamina issues were still quite apparent when he fought GGG the first time in the middle rounds. But yet many people in this topic think he was on something then. The logic just doesn't add up. If he was on something prior to fighting GGG that was used to eliminate the stamina issues, then why did he still have stamina issues on fight night?

Canelo has been drug tested on a regular basis for many many years. You have convinced yourself that all that time he was some mischievous drug using mastermind that knew how to cycle on and off drugs to beat tests. It is a purely fantastical theory created by those who do not like the guy and spend their lives concocting rumors about him. Similar to the idea that there's a judging conspiracy in relation to him. This is tinfoil hat stuff Quina74. If you want to immerse yourself in conspiracies, watch an episode of the X-Files. This is boxing. There are no Aliens here.

You're so clueless you don't even know the situation. Canelo trains in San Diego. When the clenbuterol situation occurred, he was in his hometown of Guadalajara, and was in fact out at a restaurant dining with Bill Clinton where he consumed the contaminated meat. Clenbuterol in meat is not an issue in America, so it could not be used as an excuse while living or training in San Diego.

Does it really need breaking down? While in his hometown of Guadalajara prior to training for GGG, he met Bill Clinton to go to a baseball game. They went out to a restaurant afterwards where he ordered steak.
