Agree with this. Canelo is much much better today both skills wise and seems better adjusted at a higher weight. If Floyd fought this version of Canelo at 160 he'd get wrecked.

At the same time, Floyd would make sure Clenelo didn't have his PEDs while making sure he himself can use illegal IV fluids.

Yet no mention of pbf being 36 faded and in his 5th weight class?? Also no mention of canelo being top 10 p4p ranked the ring champ at JMW and the wbc champ. Lmfao!!! This was supposed to be a passing of the torch type fight where the young lion takes out the old one but it wasn't pbf schooled canelo. Canelo fought pbf at the right time not the other way around. :deal: Pbf haters love to make excuses to discredit his wins. PBF's win over canelo is arguably the best win in boxing over the last decade and without a doubt better than any pac win.

I would like to see Alvarez wreck any slick, quick fighter before I would agree with you. I believe the Mayweather that beat Alvarez will beat him at any weight. Mayweather is simply a bad style matchup for Alvarez.

Floyd didn't even fight him at 154 and you think he beats Clenelo at any weight?

Yeah, Alvarez weighed in at 152 instead of his previous weigh in weight of 153, but you know this. Alvarez even said before the fight that the lighter weight was to his advantage because he was quicker. Alvarez is too short, too slow and fights the wrong style to beat any semi prime version of Mayweather. Alvarez couldn’t hit Mayweather with a fistful of rice if he threw it at him. However, Alvarez at any weight would destroy Pac imo.

Clenelo was drained in the fight against Mayweather. And because his body was so drawn from making weight, his face was registering a lot of facial damage. Against much bigger hitters than Floyd like GGG, Clenelo's face barely marked up. Clenelo sends Mayweather to the hospital at 155 (CleneloWeight) and above. Pac would have stopped the drained zombie that Mayweather fought.

If a faded pbf schooled him, what do you think a prime one does?:deal:

There's no prime version of Clenelo that Floyd could have faced below 168. At 168 is clearly where he is most comfortable as he himself said. And he looks to be only slightly slower, but significantly stronger.

Like he stopped Horn? It’s amazing to hear a Pac fan talking about Mayweather draining Alvarez when some of PAC’s best wins are against fighters fighting below their best weight. Then again, I have to consider the source.

If pbf was bigger and could fight at 160 he would still school canelo there prime for prime. Pbf is a stylistic nightmare for canelo who is a natural defensive counter puncher. He's an outboxer and he's not going to outbox a superior outboxer in pbf.

Nah. Cotto went to 160, but looked flabby and very clearly too small for the division. Even at 154, he looked small. Clenelo has fought at 175, weighed in at the LH limit, and looked incredibly jacked, shredded, and filled out.

I'm talking 2009 - 2012 Manny. And yeah, Pac had Horn out on his feet, drunk, and in bad shape. TKO stoppage wouldn't have been questioned.
