I have a few fights I either will not watch or watched once and never again. *Ali-Berbick I've never watched it, and never will. It's sad. Out of respect to Muhammad. *Tyson-McBride Again, out of respect. That wasn't Tyson, or even the ghost of Tyson. *GrIffith-Paret (last fight) It's hard to watch a tragedy unfolding, knowing the consequences of that fight. *Benn-McClellan I watched it once, but don't have the stomach to watch it again. I'll think up of a few more later. Yours?
Interesting thread idea and I agree with a lot of your choices. I've never watched Holmes-Ali. Just don't need to see that. Griffith-Paret 3. I'm torn about this one but have not watched it yet. Pintor-Owen. Once was enough. Sugar Ramos-Davey Moore. Nope, won't watch that. Eubank-Watson 2 and Benn-McClellan. I haven't revisited those since the nights I saw them.
Ali shavers. I have zero scientific proof about this but the way Ali took those shots really messed him up badly down the line in his later life. Interviews prove this. All time great fight by the way. I have it 8-7 Ali Tyson lewis. Literally pointless from a fighting prospective. Tyson was totally gone. I think this annoys me because I believe lewis was chinny and 86-88 Tyson beats him. Hatton Pacquiao. Watched it live and was so scared Rick at the time.
Literally exactly what I would have said. Every fight, but I'll add: Ali vs Frazier III- I dont care what everyone says; I saw it once when I was young and thats enough. Out of respect for both. The Mancini vs Kim death fight. Obvious reasons. Marciano vs Louis I saw once. Again, Louis a shell, just an academic passing of the torch. Ali vs Liston II- a scam fixed fight and its so obvious anyone who thinks otherwise is an imbicile. A disgusting fight decided by betting most likely. Ill add I dont think Ali was in on the fix... Lewis vs McCall II- an embarrassing display of a crackhead having a life crisis in the ring. Nobody wants to see that.
Any fight with Wayne McCullough....always coming forward....great chin ....no power...it hursts watching him fight
