I think Terry got cold feet after seeing what Manny did to the way bigger Thurman. Think about it Brook was shot beyond belief and had only fought once in two years Egis lost his previous fight to Ray Robinson in many people's eyes and wasn't ready for a step up of that magnitude Khan was shot beyond belief and had only fought twice in three years, one of the fights being a 40 second blowout, the other he got dropped by a light-hitting journeyman who may well have knocked him out had the bell at the end of round 2 not come to his rescue Benavidez is a peg-leg cripple who has no right being within a 5000 mile radius of a boxing ring with a gammy leg as bad as that. In fact, his leg is still so messed up he hasn't fought since that fight in 2018 And Jeffery Horn's only claim to fame is winning a scandalous hometown decision robbery against Manny after the ref allowed him to foul the crap out of Manny all night and carve his face up machete style with billy goat butts and elbows. Thurman can match Terry for size, he hits a lot harder than him, has a better chin, and he's just as fast and skillful as him and he has advantages in athleticism and explosiveness over him too.
OK, I see now that there is a lot you don't know about this game so I will break it down. Crawford asks for Pac, Pac agreed after a time and the fight was made. The only sticking point was the fact that the money was not there to proceed. Crawford's people figured it out before Pac's people and didn't sign. Porter stated that he would fight Crawford and the fight went into negotiations but Porter didn't agree with the payout and the fight was scrapped. Now Crawford's name has not come out of the mouth of Thurman or Garcia,( swift or Mikey. ) Spence ain't scared but he don't want that work right now. He played Crawford off so much and lowballed him on money so hard that Crawford just gave up. They don't fight Crawford because they don't like the odds. Now Crawford is left to fight guys with nothing to lose and people that don't know, says he's ducking the ducks. Now, instead of Manny saying, hey let's see if we can get this money from somewhere else, It's being said that he moved on to a Spence fight where the money will most likely be. I don't blame him for that. Nothing more on the Porter fight but you can't blame Crawford for that. Maybe Ugas will fight him, haven't heard anything on that. Crawford's has already stated a while back that he is not calling any of the elite fighters out because they already know that he wants the fight. All they have to do is say that they want it. Ain't heard a peep.
an easy way to sort through the confusion, is to see what fighters make fighting spence, pac, and crawford. if fighters are making roughly the same, then its the fighters pricing themselves out that smoke. if they aint, well, theres your problem.
So the money was never there. Blame it on Crawford? It's Pac who is demanding an outrageous amount. Maybe if Pac didn't demand so much, the Saudis would have financed it.
Thurman don't want that smoke, he gets knocked out and he knows it. He can't take a body shot at all and he punches too wide. He must be having nightmares of when Crawford took all the fight out of Indongo with that one body shot. He would rather call out Spence and Spence is the body snatcher.
Yeah, this is bogus. The fight fell through for the same reason every single supposed Pac fight in middle east every year falls through, because the mysterious sponsors didn’t come out with the money as further confirmed by Arum yesterday.
Thurman already had that smoke with King Manny aka the man that Terrified Terry ducked so hard he banged his head on the ground and that was a much better version of Manny than the shot two year inactive 43 y/o one who Terry's cowering in the darkest corner of the chicken coop from.
