This is Friday nights event, with Michael Conlan boxing Ionut Baluta (who is on a rich vein of form) on the undercard.

How do people see this going?

I really think Sunny will do it. He’s much better than his brother, and really talented. I think this is a fight of styles, with Mthalane very much a come forward boxer. However, at 39, he’s not as quick as he once was and that will play into Sunny’s hands. Sunny will no doubt box on the move and stay away from him, but will the older champion be able to catch up to him? Excellent fight, really looking forward to it.

Really looking forward to this fight. Sunny to win by a wide UD. I'm intrigued to see how Mthalane does, if he's slow then I can't see Sunny having any problems, but if he has decent speed and can get on Sunny he may get a knockdown. Sunny has shown to have a weak chin, although he is good at recovering.

The only factor causing me doubts in this fight is age, the age of Mthalane.

If it wasnt for his age then I would be certain that he stops Sunny.

As it stands, I think that Sunny will have a slight speed and reflex advantage which will keep him in the fight.

But I still think even with this that Mthalane dictates the pace, initiates the action and wins the exchanges. I think eventually Mthalane gets to him and gets the stoppage.

If it goes the distance then I would not be surprised if Sunny is on the end of a robbery UD win.

I think age is the key here and Sunny will be on his bike and using his skills all night long.

    Sunny on points for me

Mthalane has never been lightening quick anyway, even in his prime he was an effective but steady boxer. How Donaire beat him was pepper him with straight shots from the outside and Moruti wasn’t quick enough to get out the way and got busted up due to it.

If Sunny can avoid taking major damage in first 4-5 rounds I think he has a wee chance of growing into fight and winning on points. I just have a feeling he may be caught early and stopped. Hope I am wrong.

Mthalane will stop Edwards, who was hurt in his previous fight against the featherfister Marcel Braithwaite.

Everyone talking about mthalane age but what about his skillset?

If he's skilled then this will be a tough tough fight, could this be similar to Sunnys brother against the Mexican, when he just ended up getting walked down and didn't have any pop to deal with it.
