After beating Gonzalez, I hope to see Navarette vs Inoue next.

So you want Inoue to jump up not one, but two weight classes to fight Navarete, when he has other high-profile fights available to him at featherweight like Xu Can and Gary Russell?

    Okay.

Navarete once said that he wanted to fight Inoue so if he really wants to do it just go for it. It's gonna be a great match up fight, don't you wanna watch it?

Stephenson didn’t have to move up did he? He won the WBO title in late 2019. He could have easily fought Navarette within the next year when Navarette won it. Or no?

If he was fighting skilled boxers his own size all that stylistic stuff he does would be a liability.

He's a little like Wilder, there are limitations to his game but it's great TV.

Are we penalizing someone for simply moving up? Do you know an insider in his camp on whether he had issues making weight? Does he just want to become a multiple weight class world champion? Isn't it possible Shakur could be talking about fighting Emanuel in the future?

Are we? You said fans say anything. Shakur was WBO featherweight champ. That isn’t just saying anything. Why not defend his title he won as vacant against Navarette?

I meant fans always say a fighter is ducking another guy out of the blue. We need more information to determine that.
