This is a crazy and absurd claim from Floyd fans.

    NO!

This is the rare exception where I am giving Floyd a pass because it's impossible for them to have fought prime versions of each other due to the weight. Floyd fought a green and drained and unjuiced Canelo while being on PEDs himself (private contract w/ USADA as we saw the preferential treatment w/ the illegal IVs in the Pacquiao fight). Also why I don't rate Floyd's win over Canelo much because Clenelo, as we've seen, can weigh in at 164.5, 168, and 175 and still be hulked out and shredded without looking fat.

At 160, where Clenelo is much stronger, Floyd gets knocked out.

At 168, where Clenelo is insanely strong and powerful and fast, Floyd suffers permanent damage or dies in the ring if he doesn't quit.

Saying a super middleweight can beat a welterweight isn’t a crazy statement

I know. What's insanity is saying Floyd beats Clenelo at any weight.

Well...according to GimpY, Canelo has not improved at all since their fight. But he ALSO says Floyd was completely shot when he beat Pac. GimpY's dumber then the dust that comes out his pecker when beating it...

Where we could know that he did not had used natural juice, natural beef meat and natural horsemeat since young age?:p

Looks very suspicious that he fights only in U.S and as a tickets seller.

Clenelo speaking facts for maybe the first time in his ginger life. But also, read opening post. It's an impossible scenario.

A Ginger speaking facts is rarer than sightings of a snow leopard in the Sahara Desert, especially a Clenelo Ginger

Clenelo has obviously improved tremendously since moving up to 160 and above. He's bigger, stronger, healthier, fitter, hitting much harder, and much more experienced and that's a combination of him going on his 'meat diet,' being healthy and not being dead at the weight, and the experience he's acquired since then facing prime world class fighters, not shot hasbeens and leprechauns.

Prime Floyd for me is the one who lost to JLC and prime Clenelo is the one who an old and grey GGG was shamelessly robbed x 2 against, so yes they were at different weights when they were in their respective primes.

I think Canelo was experienced, but not prime yet. However the fight was fair. Mayweather was past prime and up a weight class.

They would never be able to meet in a hypothetical prime for prime though. Mayweather was prime probably at 140 or his first run at 147, even though his biggest fights were after his retirement. Canelo's prime looks to be at 160 or 168. It just never would have worked out.

So you want to retract your statement about Floyd beating Clenelo at any stage and at any weight?

Floyd beat Canelo so the point is redundant. Canelo was 23 and Floyd was way past his best at 36. Stands to reason he would have beat him worse when he was at ages 28-32 .

I'm not disagreeing with all with what you said.

But here's my 2 cents... Canelo has improved since the Floyd fight to the GGG fight evidently... But since the GGG fight all of Canelo's fights have been **** shows and really weird with opponents seemingly coming to lose (the Kovalev fight was a blatant joke sparring session and the Yildrim fight was very suspect also) ... So I don't really think there's been any discernible improvement with Canelo since his fight with 36yo GGG

Floyd's peak ended in 2007-at the latest.

If you put the Mayweather who faced DLH in against a somewhat older Canelo from, say, 2016 (the one who faced Liam Smith, as an example), I'm probably still picking Floyd every time out.
