Don't think we need to worry about Arreola delaying a switch to the league broadcast. He looked shot five years ago. Parker v Chisora in the morning should be decent. Still on heavies, the Daily Astonisher (Tele) is reporting that Gal has agreed to fight Justis Huni in June. Gotta give Gal plenty of credit for stepping up & taking that fight. He knows full well what he's up against but has taken it anyway. The guy has no interest in protecting an undefeated record. Just challenging himself. And getting paid of course. I hope a few other up & coming local heavies take a leaf out of his book in the future & step up when they get the call. Great opportunity for young Huni to get his name out there among mainstream sports fans in this country ahead of the Olympics. There will be a decent undercard as well I'm sure so that's one to look forward to.
I wouldn't throw my fighter in with him unless there was a title at stake. Funnily Daniel Lewis seems to have handled him better than a lot he has faced.
I think Junior could beat him b/c he doesn't fight long. He's a six foot six pressure fighter. But I agree with @WhataRock. Don't fight him unless there's something very significant to be gained by doing so. With the benefit of hindsight, they were mad putting Daniel Lewis in with him.
* Seems ice has ruined Damien Hooper career. No parole in jail till 2022 earliest release. Incredible talent his coach Don Abnett said " his instinct was just step ahead of anyone he trained " . * Aust Boxing Schedule ( Subject to change ) * Justis Huni vs Gallen June 16 ( Date changed because of Tokyo concussion protocol and stumbling block is Gallen wants Sydney and Huni Brisbane ) * Tayla Harris June 19 * Steve Spark July * Andrew Hunt Winter
Main Event want to a take advantage of State of Origin if after the Games with COVID 19 quarantine it wouldn't be to Sept at the earliest. If Huni gets knocked early the hype would be gone. Usually what Main Event wants they get. https://wwos.nine.com.au/news/boxin...olympics/c30fc3c1-5e36-4077-8f2c-606cd8b5df51 * Ambitious plans. Ben Mahoney " Sebastion Fundora is the guy i want this Summer USA. USA is where i wanna be and Fundora is the guy we want first at 154l lbs ".
It’ll be going ahead lads. Hearing negotiations are very very positive. Great fight for Justis, it’ll really help his transition into the mainstream. And massive credit to Gal. He’s brought plenty of attention to our sport.
Will the G-Train steam ahead or will he be brought to "Justis" for his repeated assault on QLD'rs fragile psyche? Tune in and find out.
