They should charge money for the tweets from Matchroom. “everybody loves this banter dont they Kugs?”
I still hear people reciting the "Vaseline" line today, normally followed up with "what a legend" and that sort of thing. Complete mugths.
Eddie loves it and is clearly in on it...I did find that press conference rant funny, in the same way Haye’s rants for the Bellew fight were funny. All salesmanship though of course...
I was looking forward to giving my ppv money to support this STACKED card. I really hope Derek can see sense and rescue my Saturday night. Hopefully David Haye can save this blockbuster main event. Let's pull together lads and pray we get to see all these 50/50 fights tomorrow night.
Exactly mate, £20 is the price of a pizza these days so it's a bargain for such a stacked card. We are really spoiled for choice with this one.
I know that womens boxing is unpopular on here but im all for Taylor /Jonas getting well paid from a PPV card ,Taylor is a superstar and pioneer but **** me how on Earth does Chisora get a PPV show against the most boring Heavyweight ive ever seen .....Its truly bizarre that Hearn and Chisora think he needs millions to fight ,whats he gonna do if hes not on PPV??? Its the same with Whyte.....I remember Hearn saying he has to be PPV coz he cant be expected to fight for 400k!!!!
Yeah, absolutely no problem with boxers getting paid what they should earn, male or female, it's just the rubbish like Courtenay with the never ending backstory that does mine and everyone else's heads in. If a person is skilled, entertaining and puts the work in to be successful they deserve the rewards, Chisora is becoming a stepping stone and yet he's making millions, it's bang out wrong. Never been a World Champion, never will be and now just an apparent name for opponents to have on their record, the I Beat Del Boy club isn't exactly an exclusive members one these days, Parker is next to join.
