Nice to see him back but @ SMW so we’ll have to see how he does

Someone posted earlier that he's been walking around at 15/16 stone, I find that incredibly hard to believe, shedding that weight would be a lot, lot harder than any Tyson Fury weight loss story. I think the fact that he's fighting at 168 tells us something though sadly, he's done. I hate to be negative and I was really pleased that he's back but what the hell, 168 when he was trying to push on at 154 before, this is BJS levels except BJS can hold it together for a period of time, mentally, sadly Fitz doesn't seem like he's able to.

He seems like a completely different character. Seems honestly nervous and edgy, sad to see really. Him beating Fowler was one of my highlights of the last few years..

If he was on anti psychotics less than a year ago, how has he been cleared to fight? Not because of the tablets themselves, but I’m not sure if someone who has obviously suffered serious mental health issues should be taking blows to the head.

I think he needed that slightly unhinged element to his personality to be at his best. I really like him, but sadly I believe beating Fowler is going to be the highlight of his career. Such a shame because despite his flaws, there's something genuinely quite likeable about him imo. So much more likeable than Fowler.

Is not beating Cheese for the Brit title bigger?

Hearn will probably book him in vs Fowler @ 154 for June if he wins this

He got up to 15 stone last year amd has had to lose it.

He seems off to me. Almost like he’s on medication on mentally doubting himself. Something seems a bit strange

Fingers crossed he gets it back though as he was a great prospect and fun fighter

This is something I’ve been wondering. Seems like he’s still on them the way he’s spaced out

No he’s been told to move gradual. This is 168, then 160, then 154 before the rematch

Certainly on medication, eyes are vacant. Wish him all the best as I like Fitzy but he doesn’t seem like a well man

It wasn't nearly as memorable for fans and there wasn't the same needle as there was vs Fowler. He also performed fairly badly. When he's retired I'm sure he will see the Fowler fight as the more significant fight in his career.
