I've lost count of how many opponents of Wlad's have been dropped and got back up from straight rights like that. most of whom don't have stellar chins. But I see that's the go to line of all of the AJ fanboys. It's cute, but holds no sway with me. The only reason he survived, is because Wlad was an idiot and didn't go for the kill, because he thought he all the time in the world. He was stung several times by Pulev, he wasn't wobbling all over the ring, but there's a reason why AJ went on the backfoot, he was gassed (once again) and Pulev was occasionally making him pay. Usyk looked far less underwhelming than Whyte, Parker, Pulev and Price. So if that's some kind of slaur against Usyk, it's a fail. AJ fights nothing like Chisora, who's always been Usyk's least favorite type of opponent. AJ is risk averse since Wlad cleaned his clock and Ruiz cleaned it again. So there'll be no close quarters war.

Won’t land a glove on him but a much less technical much smaller guy( height & reach) in Chisora landed about 140 times lol. Had him panicking every time he got close. Struggled to keep slow plodding Chisora off him. This cruiserweight is getting battered. A good big man beats a good little man.
We shall see. I'm glad he moved up though since he already completely cleaned out the Cruiserweight division. I think he could have stayed there and dominated for years to come but is trying to do something special at heavyweight. A heavyweight win over a Joshua or a Fury would cement his legacy as a truly all time great fighter and not just a great Cruiserweight champion.

I don’t hate EE boxers. I like Bivol, Wlad, Povetkin. Most of my disdain for Usyk comes from his annoying hipster fanbase thinking he’s much better than he actually is. He’s not a good heavyweight and will be found out soon enough.
Much better at cruiserweight not heavyweights. He’s too small and gets beat by AJ, Fury comfortably and sent to the shadow realm by Wilder. Whyte has a great chance of beating him as well.
Doesn't suck. If it sucks then Fury , AJ , Usyk , Joyce , Hunter etc suck too. One bad performance doesn't mean an entire division stacked with good names sucks. The lay off and 40lb weight loss effected Ruiz. He was flat last night but still got the win.
