Young CHRIS didn't really know what to do with shot old Groves, who was easily dismantled by the fourth best Smith brother. It also looked like shot George actually put young CHRIS down in that fight. I think GGG would be another deer in the headlights situation for young CHRIS.
A win over Golovkin would be huge. GGG may be past his prime but is still recognised by most as the #1 at MW.
I've got you figured out now. You're on the wind up. Your attempts at making me believe that you believe that Golovkin is on nothing but the Seven Seas Cod Liver Oil are weak. Eubank Jr would overwhelm Golovkin with volume. He has talent oozing out of his lugs. Golovkin is a hard guy, but he is well past it and it would probably be a sorry sight to see a decent champion like him crawling all over the smelly canvas but that's what I think would happen.
Eubank has no brain in my opinion. His Heart is debatable too. The Groves fight proves both of these. He was clueless how to get past Groves’ jab and wasn’t willing to take one to land one and go for it until Groves was in agony and had one arm. He was actually almost dropped for the 3rd/4th time whilst Groves had one arm so maybe he has no chin either. Just saying. Knowledgeable people on here turn a bit silly when they speak about Eubank.
Eubank tried to stop Morrison. Look at Morrisons opponents. Do you think Morrison would do a better job than Golovkin? I think Morrison is a bit better than his record suggests but that’s a huge level jump and I repeat Eubank tried to stop Morrison.
Eubank Jr toyed with Morrison. Played with him. Tickling him with shots. Hitting him hard. Scaring him. Talking to him. Showboating by talking to his group of family and friends in the crowd. Smiling at him. Giving him a bit of respite here and there. Confusing him. It was a brutal bout to watch, because I thought it was spiteful. It was a slow-cooked, cruel torturing session. 18 months out of the ring and wanted the rounds. He was even doing the Roy Jones Jr head tilted to the side thing, with that vacant expression on his face. He was having fun. He's such an underrated competitor, and he's always great for entertainment. I've got you all figured out. By the way, you're always in that kitchen.
Strange to see Eubank’s face so marked up and bruised immediately after the fight. I didn’t think he took that much punishment during the fight.
Saint George outweighed CHRIS by twenty five pounds plus in the ring that night, the kid still took him to absolute war for twelve rounds and retired him for good measure. Ripped his arm clean out of its socket. Callum smith owes that super six trophy entirely to junior. Was in there with a one armed battered shell of a man, he knows it, they all knew it.
Eubank Jnr Come on give me a break, if he was going to make his mark in the game he would, or should i say "should" have done it by now. Amazing all this talk of him beating GGG now, whats happened has he found out how to suddenly use a pen now the other guy is a lot older. I would have had more respect for him as i am sure most would, if he would have taken the GGG fight when it was presented to him, personally i do not believe he would have won, but it would have shown how committed to facing these guys when they were at the top of their game, not play the old trick of waiting for them to age and claim to have beaten an elite. Jog on Junior, go learn to write joined up now you have a pen...
No apologies required here pal, your opinion is all you got. I respect it whether I agree with it or not. As I said in my opening post, and every time I’ve mentioned ggg since, young CHRIS beats this version of GGG. Prime for prime is impossible so not worth discussing fantasy matchups, right now though, the kid brings too much fire for Golovkin to handle. Andy lee was a retired fighter when Saunders beat him, completely empty shell of a once decent man. Shot to pieces and never fought again (I’m not counting that absurd final exhibition fight against that security guard so he could retire on a win) young CHRIS is Saunders best win and it was a highly debatable split decision against a complete novice who had never competed in a twelve rounder before. This version of Junior walks through Saunders and makes him quit early on his stool.
