When I was in Jirovs camp they hung a poster of Saad up where we skipped, very motivating guy to watch Miracle Matthew was an Idol of mine growing up.

So many great and exciting fights in history, hard to pick just "one" or even a few.
Most of Saad Muhammed's title defenses were extremely violent wars of attrition.
And another lt.heavy, Southpaw Marvin Johnson I don't think he was in a fight
    that was boring.
Here are some of the great ones off the top of my head
Zale vs Graziano #2, Lomatta vs Robinson#5
Ali vs Frazier#1 and 3, Duran vs Dejesus#1 Hearns vs Leonard#1 Hagler vs Mugabi,
Leonard vs Duran#1 Pryor vs Arguello#1, Foreman vs Lyle , Tua vs Ibeabuchi.
Chavez vs Taylor#1 Gomez vs Pintor , Chacon vs Edwards , Holyfield vs Qawi #1
Holyfield vs Bowe #1 and #3 . Another fight rarely mentioned is the Meza vs Garza
    fight.
Yes I omitted Hearns vs Hagler, personally I find it a bit overrated , after the 1st
couple of minutes the fight was practically one-sided. The only drama after the
1st rd was if the fight would be stopped because of the cut Hagler received.

Had he chosen another sport, MSM would have been a stone killer on the back 9 at Augusta after surviving the eighth.

    Nice sentiment, but scientifically flawed...

The force would just go straight through the object and come out the other side, so it would not be much of a fight unlike Muhammad/LopezII! ;)

I say Lopez would have beaten Virgil Hill , a decent fighter that reigned in a horrible era ..

The most exciting I ever saw was Tyson - Holyfield 1 as no one thought Evander had a shot and to see it unfold was exceptional ..

Duran vs Barkley was a vey close second ..

LOL; just something I picked up on QI; I was interested but useless at Science.

I went the PPE route to get my degree, and even that was a mission. Having the disability of not being too bright!

You're doing better than me no doubt. I always hated physics! Chemistry was more my thing, although I always F'd it up-both ways.

Well no, it's not scientifically flawed because it's not a scientific statement :)

Not the greatest fight but wanted to throw out Tua vs Ibeabuchi and the Tyson-Ruddock fights

    Highly entertaining bouts

LOL; it depends how it is interpreted. Everything can be a statement in a scientific sense, it is just you would not expect a boxing forum to normally do so! ;)
