He turned up at the press conference and put it on GGG. Not high myself but we know you love that Finchley high grade.
There's some pretty extreme reactions on here to people's opinions on how a fight might go "Alvarez is going to absolutely smash him up" - Mildly questioned "Alvarez all night long, stoppage or UD" - Not opposed "I think BJS could surprise everyone but still not get the nod" - Apparently you need medication "BJS is going to win on points" - You're crazy and need help It seems that unless you agree that Saunders hasn't got a chance you get shot down immediately, let's try to be a bit open minded at least!
Lots of parallels with Fury after Seferi. People wrote him off (not me). Bill is similar where he has always put his best performances in the “bigger” fights (obviously none as big as this). The Lee and Lemieux fights in particular. And before anyone overreacts I’m absolutely not comparing these fighters with Canelo! Just pointing out that Bill brings his A-game against the better guys.
Well, it's the same thing any time Alvarez is involved. I personally find it amusing that Saunders is slaughtered for his character, as if Alvarez is some kind of saint. He's a scummy guy, too, in my opinion. There is a certain irony to your post, though. You won't have anybody say that Chris Eubank Jr is talented, when he clearly is. You won't even entertain a reasonable discussion, but shoot down anybody with "you're trolling" etc.
No, no, no, Safmiester. I merely said that Jnr wasn't World Level, never said he wasn't a talented boxer, he has just never done anything to be considered World Level. It's in the thread and I haven't edited it. Of course Jnr has talent but then Tyan Booth had talent, he's just not World Level and he's done nothing to e considered that. I also never said "you're trolling", just pointed out reactions to opinions in this thread.
Fair enough. Maybe it's me that's misunderstanding things. What's world level? I always had it down as someone who competes in eliminators at a minimum, that sort of level. If you compete in a world title bout, that's world level, obviously. Then there's the more arbitrary term of "elite" that gets banded about. I went to a college years ago and the tutor asked me what level my badminton is at. I told him not very good as I've not played competitively but i won my high school contest. He told me that I was elite level. So is it your belief that you think Eubank Jr is not good enough to be in eliminators, or title bouts? I think your definition might be different because I find that hard to believe.
