If there genuinely isn’t anything in the contract addressing ring dimensions, what kind of Mickey Mouse operation is Hearn running here?

This simply wouldn’t happen with Frank Warren and Michael Hennessy.

 

In a way I'd have to admire BJS if he walked away from that kind of money and sticks to his guns , he's always said its not about the money, it makes no sense really though as if it were that much of a make or break issue then why didn't they put in the contract ?

sounds like they’ve drawn a line in the sand on the Canelo team demands, nothing new here I imagine from the a side, keep pushing the envelope, take an inch here and there, all adds up. I get it.

My considered take is team Canelo couldn’t care less how big the ring is and are just finding out where the line is, now they’ve found it they’ll concede on the footage and the fight goes ahead as planned.

 

Nah not on fin mate. I’ve spoken against using it for the exact reasons you cite. It WILL destroy your hormones. Just not worth it. I’d only recommend using fin if you are also blasting testosterone.

If it’s in the contract for a 24ft ring then fair enough. If it isn’t and he pulls out then that is a duck unfortunately. And I’m a fan of his.

Edit- his Dad said on IFL that it wasn’t in the contract they are just negotiating and Canelo won’t budge from 20ft.

 

Have a day off those two haven’t promoted a top level fight for close to 30 years. TV was barely invented then let alone ring dimensions
