George, I love you man but seriously? Ingo wouldn't even make 200. He'd also have no chance, against Wilder, Whyte, or Ortiz especially with his chin.

Of course you don't favor Ingo over Liston. Nobody here said that.

Swag seriously just makes crap up on purpose. I would put him on ignore. Everyone should.

    Stop feeding all these trolls.

He’s digging up old threads trying to prove something (to himself) about a fighter not included on this thread.

The pity is swagman feels it’s outrageous or something to have a different opinion. It offends him somehow?

Even that time around I feel I said nothing wrong. It’s just an opinion. People who know their history understand The margins can be very small at top level, often tipping the edge. So much so career timing can produce different results between two fighters even if one has a 99% chance of winning overall.

A match well made is a match half won. Within reason, A good matchmaker can often produce the upset he wants between any two fighters if the timing and homework is just right. That’s why you can’t rule anything out.

This was the kind of thing I alluded to but this person jumps on it ...when the whole thing is often over his head and he’s missing the point.

forgive them, they know not what they do...

Frank Bruno would beat guys like Joshua and win at least part of the heavyweight title. Ingo would be considered a cruiser weight but I doubt he would even win any part of the cruiser weight title.

David Haye did pretty well moving up from cruiser. Cunningham did well against Tyson Fury. Some things you can’t entirely rule out.

Bruno had trouble winning big fights, I would root for him to beat Joshua too...but I can’t bet on it. By now Joshua may have surpassed Franks potential.

@choklab why did you refuse to answer my direct question numerous times yet voted for Ingo in the poll?

When? You responded to my post at 12:49, then went out of your way to tag me in a post in another thread not even an hour ago. I answered you at 1:49 PM, in between those two occurrences so you're lying.

I don't understand why you and @Bah Lance lie about having people on ignore. It's honestly pathetic.

Right when a natural 180 pound guy wins the heavyweight title again then get back with me. Until then my point stands. Ingo isn't a heavyweights by modern standards so even low level heavyweights like Charles Martin would stop him.

Bruno lost big fights but he lost them to legit heavyweights. It is like saying since Wladimir Klistchko lost to Corrie Sanders, Lamon Brewster, and Ross Purritty that means Tommy Hearns could beat Wladimir too.

Don't even try that ****. I don't care that you have a different opinion. It's your reasoning for that opinion that annoys me. You're a dishonest cowardly agenda driven tool. I could bring up countless examples to support my argument as well as countless posters (at least 15 off the top of my head) who feel the same way about you.

It's honestly a miracle you're still taken seriously. You're ESB's longest running joke.

Think Ingo has a better career at cruiser...compared to Bruno at heavy. Ingo wasn’t tested to often in the chin department and he failed against a medium puncher in Patterson.
didn’t Vitali lose to a former LHW? How about Evander getting knocked out by a middleweight? Or John Ruiz getting embarrassed by a middleweight? Just because there’s a cruiser division and we don’t see these matchups often doesn’t mean these results wouldn’t happen like they have before.

lol out of everyone who voted for Ingo, not one NOT ONE poster could explain their choice (one still denies voting for him as is). That is the definition of cowardice.

I don’t deny voting for Ingo. I voted for him as it’s a question of class rather than size. Yes Ingo would be limited and less physically suited to the super heavyweight division but since It wasn’t so long ago that David Haye won a title I think it’s less of a shot in the dark to say he would do well. Frank Bruno never won big fights in his own time. There’s probably not much in it though.
