So, net worth now dictates whether you have the rules bent in your favor or not?
Good to know. So we agree, Canelo is a diva that demands everything stacked his way before the fight starts. Good to know we agree on something.

Honestly its bjs fault he didnt negotiate the size of the ring in the first place. If you know you wanna run for your life in there against the p4p king, why wouldnt you or your team include that in the contract before you sign it? Seems like bjs is tryinf to pull a fast one.

If that's true, then no issue.

However, any title fight has an agreed ring size - just like brands of gloves that can be worn.
I read and heard yesterday that it was agreed upon at 24 foot, I'll double-check and see if I can find you a link

I originally thought this was fight week hype, driven by Hearn himself. However, with the recent fall out with ODLH I can't imagine that Canelo is too keen to play marketing games...

Absolutely, I'm not disputing that at all... what I'm saying is, IF it was agreed upon in the contract, then Canelo needs to honor that. As does BJS.

It is incredibly unlikely that the contract didn't have an agreed-upon ring size prior to signing. Even low-level pro boxing requires that in the contract.

If it was agreed upon at 20 foot, then BJS is being a diva. If it was agreed upon at 22 or 24ft and Canelo is changing it, Canelo is being a diva. Contractually, if it is being changed after the fact, BJS has the legal right to walk away from the fight - which it sounds like may be happening right now.

    And they worked.:sisi1

He got what he wanted, and it appears the fight is back on.

This is the only way to win with the ****s on Team Canelo.

    Don't take their ****.

That would be great if you can find the link, thanks because I still don't know for certain what the exact issue is.

Was the size of the ring stipulated in the contract and Canelo is trying to reduce it?

Was the size of the ring not stipulated but subsequently compromised at 22 feet and Saunders' camp is trying to increase it?

I'd be surprised if Canelo originally agreed to a 24 foot ring.

Wasn't the 22 foot ring for Hagler vs Leonard considered unusually large?
I remember the 21 foot ring used in the Thrilla in Manila being thought of as large and that was for heavyweights!!

Just how many rings has Canelo got stored up!? There was no arrangement as to the ring size in the contracts. 16-20ft are the ring sizes allowed by the BBBOC.

Without ANYONE knowing details of ring size specified in the contract, there's no use in trying to point blame. If you hate BJ, it's his fault...if you hate canelo, it's his fault... lets get some solid info before pointing fingers.
