Why doesn’t fighter B get to use the gloves he wants? If A is so confident in his abilities, what his opponent chooses to use shouldn’t be an issue. So yea, when one fighter can determine what his opponents use, it makes it uneven. My favorite fighters have done it and I still think it’s a garbage tactic. It’s really ok to be fair and neutral in these matters. You aren’t getting paid to be a fan. It’s also ok to say you think it’s fine when one fighter can dictate the terms of the fight. It’s how boxing has always been. But let’s not pretend these fights are on even playing fields.
