1988 Tyson was clearly a lot better than the guy who fought Tillis. It was actually a necessary learning fight. He needed to learn to go the distance. Plus Tillis had good movement unlike Wlad.
Yup. Everyone who favors Tyson doesn't know **** about boxing. Real mature, and accepting. Grow up kid.
I love how prime Tyson lasts a matter of months between "he was green" and "he was past prime" We're talking about Wladimir Klitschko, the Ukrainian boxer, not Wlad Bogdanu, the janitor. Maybe you should watch his fights.
As I said, you've been here nearly 10 years, act like it. Stop acting like a child, and dismissing posters who don't share your view as "they dksab" because your guy is on the losing end of the poll. It's childish and pathetic
Hey if you don't understand what you're seeing it's your problem. Please don't get all butthurt over a contrary opinion that also happens to be informed.
I think it would be fair to say Tyson run really hot from about Frazier to Spinks. A two year run. It's a cliche but basically the Rooney period. He wasn't too bad against Bruno and Williams either with what we had to go on. So it wasn't a long peak. Having said that his two stouches with Ruddock saw him fighting at a very good level still but that ended pretty quickly with jail. Well at least we know Jans name now.
Here's a guy that thinks Lennox is "similar to the Klitschkos in many ways", thereby underscoring the stylistic similarities that I saw between Wlad and Lennox as well: https://www.boxingforum24.com/threads/lennox-lewis-vs-joe-frazier.555015/ I suppose you're gonna tell me that he's also a pathetic child?
I'm going with Wlad, his style was perfect at neutralizing smaller swarmers and he's one of the few giants that could handle Tyson's speed. Tyson is the one that has to close the distance and make the fight without getting worn down by all the wrestling and hugging. Wlad can win this just by jab and grab, even if it stinks out the joint. I see the argument for Tyson, I get it.
That was SIX years ago when I was A child . I was wrong, I admit it. That's the difference between me and you.
