Andrew McCart selfishly wants to see Alvarez vs Saunders.

How very selfish of him.

 

Saunders is simply trying to powerplay Canelo. It’s all mind games. Canelo previously created his own weight class because he wanted things to suit him. So what’s the issue with Saunders doing the same thing regarding the ring dimensions?

 

It just shows how being good can get you a pass with almost anything. It's the same power dynamic that having status or large financial resources brings about in certain contexts.

The world forum is littered with plonkers who give Alvarez a free pass with anything just because he's good. I can't stand corruption in any form, and he's as corrupt as it gets.

Saunders hasn't gone far enough with the mind games. A couple of IFL TV interviews with Ace Ventura and Andrew McCart is tame stuff.

 

Totally agree I keep pointing out the X factor that is Young Stevie Saunders. Billy Joe needs to unleash him tomorrow at the final press conference up the ante. The little runt punched Willie Monroe in the bollocks he needs to do something similar to Canelo or at least Hearn.

 

I like the idea of him springing a surprise, but I don't think extra weight would help. Given Canelo's chin I can't see whatever extra power he carries making up for the loss of movement and hit on his gas tank. He's looked a shadow of his former self at this weight as it is, any heavier and he'll be a sitting duck.

 

Good shout. A punch to the Canelo Cojones would be a natural step up from Monroe. That was a few years ago, he'll be a lot bigger now. Probably the same height as Alvarez. I'd recommend him to practice his punch and kick combo on Andrew McCart first.

 

Stevie would batter Kugan and McCart on the same night.
