Why hasn't the Usyk v Joyce fight been sorted yet?

I don't see why this couldn't have already happened, and why there's such silence.

It doesn't require a crowd. If Whyte and Pov can happen twice then this fight could also happen.

Usyk needs to keep himself active.

Fury-Wilder III and Joshua-Usyk could be happening this month and Eddie Hearn could still be working on a Fury-Joshua unification if Eddie had just played the cards he was dealt.

But he inserted himself in the middle of Fury-Wilder III.

Hearn spent 2020 posting videos running Wilder down, and everyone lapped it up.

Hearn spent 2020 saying he could get a Saudi guy to bankroll the "bigger" fight, and everyone lapped it up.

Hearn spent 2020 trying to get Usyk to agree to step aside and trying to get the WBO to agree to Usyk-Dubois ... and then Usyk-Joyce, and everyone decided that was fine.

And now that he's gummed up all the works because he's MONTHS late with this "great deal" he promised, and once Arum said the fight was dead, everyone has hit pause again and is waiting to see if Hearn can pull this off or if they should continue down the original path they were on.

That's basically it. Everyone is standing outside in line waiting to get into the party, and Eddie can't find the keys to open the door. (LOL)

He is probably backup in case the chipsy king pulls out like his father should have.

They've been waiting to see if the pandemic would abate and a large live crowd become possible.
Not enough money for Fury vs Joshua fighting to cameras.
However Fury vs Wilder or Joshua vs Usyk could be done on a sound set and push the bigger fight
out a bit in hopes of the crowd.
Unless Fury and/or Joshua become unfocused, they should both win and we're back to unification.

Personally, I think they should require Covid 19 vaccination for attendance, book Fury vs Joshua now
    and pack 'em in.

As for Usyk vs Joyce. Joyce will knock him out and that is why there is a delay.

That is a lot of blame thrown on Hearn. I think it´s a bit unfair. As if he has to manage everyone, the guy is just a promoter.
    Usyk-Joyce is not Hearn´s fault.

But those are some fair points, don´t get me wrong.

Usyk isn't going to commit to anything until Fury and AJ is sorted one way or the other

Warren said as much last week and it actually makes sense

Yes. I like both Usyk and Joyce.

Will the winner get credit for their win? If Usyk wins, people will say Joyce is crap. If Joyce wins, people will say Usyk is not a good heavyweight. I think this is an excellent bout between two excellent heavyweights. I can't wait for it. I think Usyk will win.

I wouldn't be surprised if he won at all. He has grown on me both in and out of the ring. I never thought he would be as good as he has turned out, so he has proved me wrong. It's his temperament, engine and chin that seem to be among the best in the division. Obviously his jab is also very good. Usyk vs Joyce is a great contrast in styles. It's exactly the sort of bout that makes heavyweight boxing my favourite.

You do mean Usyk v Joyce 2?

nobody, wants to see another Joyce whooping.

Usyk has bigger fish to fry. AJ vs Usyk is on the cards, if, if tyson fight falls through.

Big log jam that doesn't appear to be getting sorted, a complete mess, that's been "one week from being announced" for what feels like 2 months...

... Should can the big one and actually have the guys ****ing fighting than continue this charade

To risky vs reward. Mr 93% doesn't really want it.

If you are Hearn and Usyk you would want the Parker fight instead.

Joshua Fury still up in the air. That fight will determine Usyks next move. If it does not happen Usyk goes staight for AJ.
