It will not be for more money that’s for sure as he was going to make over a million for this fight. he has no promoter so it’s crazy on top of this if he wins the fight he gets a fight vs winner of AJ vs Fury or elevated to champ amd his earnings would be life changing. only reason he hasn’t taken it is to duck Hrgovic, looking at IBF rankings based on what is in place we now get Hrgovic vs Martin or more likely Hrgovic vs Parker which will be interesting

How was he making over a million for fighting Hrgovic when Hearn won the purse bid with only a bid of $606K. Hunter was going to get 60% for a purse of around $360K. Where are you getting this million plus figure from? It is crazy he has no promoter though, he went from fighting Kuzmin in at Madison Sq Garden and Povetkin in Dubai to fighting a nobody in Galveston Texas. Hrgovic/Parker would be a good fight and beating Parker would do more for Hrgovic than beating Hunter or Martin. So if Hrgovic/Parker happens this might very well work out in his favour.
Hunter is one of the most overrated heavyweights on this board. While Usyk is "too small", despite being a bigger man than Hunter, Hunter is "mobile and tricky"...
I won't call Hunter a ducker unless it's clear he picked an easier opponent without substantial financial recompense or chance to advance his career. His track record of fighting dangerous and highly ranked fighters speaks for itself. Hrgovic, not so much.
