I presume that it is related to how the forum advertises official streaming services for some bouts, is that right? It seems like this is the only forum that doesn't allow the use of nicknames for it.

Yeah, and this site has always taken a hardline when it comes to that. Regardless, not just the ones that advertise.

I think Saunders wins the first half of the fight. Canelo comes back in the second half. Very close fight but Canelo ends up winning by at least 4 rounds with one scorecard being 118-110

    Fair enough.

I've also wondered about the banning policy. Obviously forums will have their own policy, but it seems as though this forum is quite lenient in terms of its reluctance to permanently ban members. Some people have been banned about ten times since I've been here, but on other forums if you've been banned a few times you are probably not coming back.

What merits a permanent ban? Do certain things end up in longer bans than others?

Yeah, we're pretty lenient on here, and depending on the intent and the temperament of the user, we give people several chances. Also, most of the mods here are a little more engaged with the population so to speak, so we know most of you either quite well, or at the very least, have a vague notion of how you post and where you're coming from. As far as permabans go. Usually the stuff that's permaban worthy is straight up vicious racism, no matter what the race of the poster is. If they're a spammer, they get permabanned. And if they don't improve and no desire to change after several bans for fairly serious reasons, they get the permaboot.

Sorry, I missed this earlier. This is a repost from the one on the RBR in the General.

This will be Saunders coming out party. His performance will rival Floyd's domination of a green Canelo. I've always said a dedicated fully focused Saunders is the best fighter at 160 and capable of beating even GGG. The one time he had to be fully on (because he had to be), and not coast, was an away fight in Canada, he didn't lose a second of that fight. This is the most focused Saunders I've ever seen heading into a match. He'll prove he's as good as I've been claiming he is for the last 7 years on here tonight. This will be his Fury-Wlad moment.

For all of the naysayers. What if Saunders doesn't crumble, because Canelo is incapable of making the needed adjustment? What is Canelo finds himself hitting air all night? If GGG can move a millimeter and make Canelo miss while in range, a constantly out of range Saunders will make him miss all night. I think you guys are giving Canelo, who's proven to be adept at outboxing face first plodders, more credit than he deserves. How many pure boxers who control range well has he faced since his match against Lara? Shot Cotto was a close match, against GGG he lost both, shot Khan and shot Kovalev both schooling him before what they brought in there for inevitable happened. Hell, even Jacobs, who doesn't control range very well took 5 to 6 rounds off of him. That's not a stellar record of incredible performances now is it? Eliminate them, that leaves Angulo, Beefy, Fielding, Callum, Yildirim, Kirkland and Chavez. Oofah! That's horrid. If those looping eye catching shots can't find their mark early, Canelo will get desperate, wear himself out hitting air and be in for a very long night. Because newsflash, it's not hard to walk down guys who are standing in front of it. Canelo is still fairly flat footed, and a plodder on the front foot. Do any of you see him being the hard charging guy, literally running after Lara? Is he even capable of that with the added bulk? This is not as cut and dry as most of you have allowed yourself to be convinced it is.

All The Superb One has to do is evade Canelo's shots and outbox him, when he's capable of threading a needle in a hurricane. This'll be a piece of cake.

That being said, if I'm wrong.... oh well. I'm wrong. It's just boxing.

So do you guys set the alarm or stay up? I’m trying to stay up but not sure I’ll make it. Just watching a Canelo Smith replay.

And who has Billy beaten for you to dismiss Canelo's record like that?

Gassed out against a green CEJ, beat the most one dimensional boxer in Lemmy, looked mediocre against Murray... his preparation for this has been shocking. But because he isn't fat, he's supposed to win.

It won't look like Wlad/Tyson at all.

I’ve said similar here over the course of this week and keep reiterating the final paragraph when posters say “well why aren’t you betting on it?” Lol

Is everyone else coming across twitter posts saying that we must all support Billy because he's British and there should be no reason to not support him?

Listen, I'm not Canelo's number 1 fan, I don't believe that he's some kind of world superstar because he isn't. He is a very good boxer though but I just don't have any connection towards him however Billy Joe has shown numerous times why he's a bit of sht human being. It doesn't matter if he's taken a selfie with some kid who had cancer, he's still a sht human being and he's shown that he behaves like a bully on many occasions.

For someone who's done well out of boxing, he should be setting an example to young kids but instead he's done the opposite.

That's why I can't get behind the guy anymore. It'll be good for him to win but I don't see why every brit has to support him just because he's from our shores.

I set alarms but planning to stay up now for the full card from 1am. Watching MOTD atm. And if any fights on the undercard bore me and risk putting me to sleep I’m just gonna play FIFA to keep me alert.

Standard protocol for these cards along with some food.

I ignore patriotism in boxing. Load of bollocks really prefer the fighter you like to win.
