Did he fake being hurt and his eye closing?
Or was he banking on Canelo landing something good so he could quit?
If so, then why wait so long?

I'm not going to throw Plant in the dirt. He's American, undefeated, has skills and want to see him get paid and do good.

You'd think some people would learn after Dubois. It wasn't that long ago.

Everybody screaming "Quit", then we find out he had busted his orbital and would have risked going blind if he carried on.

Hearing on 5 Live that Canelo was up by 4 rounds, 4 rounds and 2 rounds on the scorecards after the 8 completed.

It was a lucky punch that won the fight indeed, Canelo can land that shot 100 times and 99 times it won't do any damage.

Agreed mate. You can’t call a rematch unless it was a doctor stoppage. Even then it’s not guaranteed unless it was seen as super close. Canelo wasnt even bothered by those pitter patter BJS shots. He needs to put more power behind those shots. This fight goes to show just how good GGG was even past his best.
