Im being too harsh. That cut looked bad. It should have been stopped regardless. I hope Saunders makes an excellent recovery. He gave Canelo hell in the mid rounds. He's a good fighter

you're being unfair to Saunders imo. You make it sound like he quit only because Canelo won the 8th easily up in the 8th and you ignore the obvious eye injury. Im not trying to discredit Canelos win here. He did the damage to Saunders eye by making an intelligent adjustment and catching BJS right on his right eye.

I have no animosity for Saunders, but this thread isn't too harsh. About half of the board members are Canelo haters and they aren't going to give him any credit for this victory. Watch all the whine and excuse threads pop up tonight and tomorrow. You think any of them would be chill with Canelo the other way around? No way. The Canelo haters should definitely man up and eat some crow tonight.

4-3 to Canelo at the time of the stoppage, I think Canelo will have his hands full with Caleb Plant.

Probably ditched him straight aftee BJS quit like a lil hoe.

Tyson Fury is probably stumbling around at Six Flags looking for that "gypsy magic" he was talking about yesterday.

BJS 2.0 has looked like trash up at 168 even though he fought a dog walker, a greengrocer and a shot to smithereens Martin Murray.

    Shefat Isufi
    Marcelo Esteban Coceres
    And a shot 38 y/o Martin Murray

    Isufi hurt him badly
He went life and death against Cocereswho also apparently hurt him albeit I can't remember that and IIRC was behind on most on scorecards on here prior to the 11th round stoppage

That's the kind of lowly company he's been mixing in up at 168 and to help him prepare him for the gargantuan leap up in class he was making to face the ''P4P king'' on hostile territory in front of 70,000 delirious doe-eyed teenybopper Clenelo fangirls on a stage of that magnitude. He was understandably tight and not his usual loosey-goosey self at first but as soon as he started to relax and found his groove he was giving Clenelo plenty of problems with his slickness and movement.

He actually did well all things considered and was unlucky to suffer such a terrible eye injury in the final round after finding his grove and having plenty of success of his own. He's the one who had to raise his game like never before and who was fighting for the first time on a stage of that magnitude against a bigger, stronger, much more powerful and experienced elite champion, and I mean experienced in terms of number of fights but also experienced fighting at a much higher level, and experienced fighting on a stage of that magnitude, and experienced dealing with the kind of pressure that comes with that which is cannot be overstated. This was BJS 2.0 first rodeo at that level and it was on very hostile territory on a playing field that was stacked against him against the ''greatest fighter of our generation,'' right?
