Pretty obviously you are the one who can’t score a fight.

Man, that broken orbital bone is no joke. I remember when Inoue suffered a similar injury that had him seeing double against a dangerous puncher in the second round, and he also had to quit. Shame too, because it could have been an amazing fight.

...wait, what was that? He continued to box and beat his opponent quite handily, even knocking him down and being robbed of a KO?

    Huh. Weird.

Billy Joe looked distressed going back to the corner and he knew with his Popeye face he said "Ya gotta pull me out ere Mark". Then you saw Mark Tibbs in front of BJS, saying "Are you shoor", next thing he turns around and waves his hands.

As to be expected for the 'home' fighter, the cards I thought at time of stoppage were a bit wide to Canelo

    My Card:-

    10-9 Canelo
    10-9 Canelo (close)
    10-9 Canelo
    9-10 Saunders (close)
    9-10 Saunders
    9-10 Saunders
    9-10 Saunders (close)

Obviously Canelo would have taken the 8th with what was arguably a 10-8 round even without the knockdown, but I had Saunders 4-3 going into the 8th.

It was competetive, but I thought rounds 3-6 especially showed the blueprint on how to "beat" Canelo - I think Calzaghe and Ward would make it look pretty easy to be honest (aside from an injury like that), but I'd take Froch as well.

BJS was shoe shining all night. The 5th round was his best round easily. He landed some good shots and didn't get hit in return much. If you are shoe shining and getting hit with solid shots, you are not winning rounds unless there's a huge disparity in your punches landed vs the opponent's. Same way I felt about Canelo vs Trout.

Yeah but you also said he was gonna get beat up through out

You also said he was getting knocked out

You picked the winner as did i in a two horse race

He got beat up in 1 round for the last minute

    Ultimately that was enough

Saunders waa in my view level on points up until that point

His corner pulled him out by the way
    Hearn confirmed

    He didn't quit

I'm actually shocked people has Canelo up at the end of that ****ing lmao

Saunders was up 5 - 2 and he was coming on strong until the eye damage

Well said mate. My Canelo humble pie was full of razor blades but I ate it. He is a top notch fighter and will go down as an ATG for sure.

Anyone really shocked by these? It's a Canelo fight. You have to knock him down to get a draw.

You're obviously not understanding the point.

There is a difference in believing in someone getting a decision AND scoring a fight properly.

I never said i expected BJS to get a 50/50 round on the judges scorecards.

But the fact doesn't change another fact: It's still a terrible scorecard if you had it 6-2.

    Both won 2 rounds clearly.

So you had 4 close-ish rounds. If you gave all 4 to Clenelo you're corrupt/biased/terrible in scoring a fight.

    Easy.
