Canelo wipes out 168lb with ease

    Plant is not slick enough

Benavidez will get the same treatment as Chavez Jr

Canelo will have to look to 175lb for a challenge and there's only one guy there worth fighting - Beterbiev. It's the only challenge for him.

Canelo will out work Beterbiev until Beterbiev starts landing and then stops him.

I thought Canelo just said not long ago that he wasn't fighting at LHW any more?

Beterbiev is aging so I'd give Canelo much more of a chance than 2 years ago.

Beterbiev will probably retire before we find out.

Eddie Reynoso said he wants to unify 175lbs and then challenge Beterbiev.

Artur will be nearly 40 by then so well faded and past his prime hence the bravery shown by Reynoso.

Beterbiev will have his hands full with Joe Smith Jr first, who might actually beat him.

Agreed. The problem for Canelo at these higher weights and especially at 175 is that his feet are visibly slower and he's become a more one-dimensional one-punch-at-a-time explosive front-foot counterpuncher. He'd have to fight Beterbiev in a battle, and Beterbiev is just too big and active even though Canelo P4P is a better fighter. Beterbiev would be nailed with counters at times, but not enough to dissuade him from going at Canelo and grinding him down with brute force.

Nobody knocks out Canelo which means nobody beats him, doesn't matter how many rounds you win, Canelo will get the decision, disgusting.

I think BIvol has a better chance than Beterbiev against Canelo

Bivol struggled with Craig Richards last week and is too small. He's already been beaten up by Beterbiev in sparring too hence why he shows him too much respect in interviews.

Bivol and Beterbiev both beat him.

Bivol would outbox him decisively landing combos and Beterbiev could possibly end his career.

Smith should have lost against Vlasov last time out. He was very lucky to get that win.

It sounds like after Plant for Canelo would likely be a mandatory then GGG or another name moving up from 160. If Canelo does go back to 175 it will be after he's cleaned out all contenders at 168 (4-5 fights).
