What's so Karma about that? He showed sympathy and support for Dubois. Do you even understand English?
What happened to getting carried out the ring Billy???????? I know it was a big ring. But come on. Only 2 extra ft.
Not trying to troll here, being serious, when Canelo and Andy Ruiz were hitting the donut pad with power left hook and power right upper cut shot I was surprised that canelos punch made more noise, was harder, more explosive and was a deadlier shot. I think Canelo power is underated, like a James toney who can carry his pop to heavyweight just enough to keep dudes honest i.e. Holyfield. Canelo proved this at light heavyweight perhaps even stronger than lights out? I've always been a huge Canelo fan, get that stupid mug shot of Tyson fury out of here claiming to take over. What Canelo did to BJs is just about conceivable as what Manny p did to Margaritos face, except not after twelve rounds; it only took one punch.
BJ Saunders eye was not even closed. BJ Saunders eye was not even half closed BJ Saunders eye was not even a quarter closed. BJ Saunders eye was "damaged" in round 8 and then he quit in the corner. Gypsy heart. Gypsy magic. Gypsy fighting spirit. He disgraced all of that. We don't know how much damage his eye too, and we don't know whether the information Team Saunders will put out is true or not, will they lie and try to make it worse than it actually was to minimize the backlash? If needed to, I fully believe they will do that. Remember, that simpleton, Daniel Dubois, fought how many rounds with a completely CLOSED eye? And he still DID NOT quit in the corner. He went out for another round again a few times over and even then he still did not quit in the corner. He got up, went out, took a solid jab and only then took a knee. In the end BJS did not want it enough, hell he did'nt even want it as much as Daniel freaking Dubois. Naoya Inoue had a broken orbital bone from the 2nd round to the end of the 12th round. Antonio Margarito had his orbital bone broken in the 4th round and fought to the end of the 12th round. Josh Taylor against Regis Progais had a fully closed and swollen eye for the last 2 rounds Ebanie Bridges against Shannon Courtenay had a fully closed and swollen eye and fought like a champ, she's a goddamn middle-aged woman. Vitali Klitschko TKO6 and how much he desired to fight on. BJS couldn't even last a minute and when he got to the corner you could still see his pupil and most of the white of his eye, which I am sure is now yellow from cowardice. Still, we don't even know if he actually had any real damage other than slight swelling and bruising. How many fights have we seen where fighters have closed eyes and fought on like it's nothing. Only a week or so ago, there was a middle-aged FEMALE boxer who had a completely closed and swollen eye fighting on like a true warrior. Man, I am disgusted with BJS and I was behind him cheering him on because I despise Canelo already. @CST80 This one
Most of the damage to Margaritos eye was caused by one punch an uppercut in round 4 I believe. Margarito just keep fighting
Classic example of sitting there in comfort judging other people but when you find yourself in that situation you go against your own advice. Billy would’ve walked away with a lot more respect had he been KO’d after more than holding his own but that ending has left a question mark over his head.
Whilst I don't agree that a fighter retiring due to serious injury is necessarily a 'quit' job, that is some serious Bad Karma, and maybe BJS deserves it. Totally forgot about that tasteless post to Dubois.
Billy Joe Saunders: 'If my eye sockets were broken I would not be stopping until I was knocked out’ ‘this is the path in life we fighters choose’ The Gypsy Queen is a self proclaimed quitter
