I give him a little credit for this fight. Billy Joe came to win at least and did some work but bottled it. He should have gone out for at least another round, this is boxing not golf.
Having said that, his last 3 fights before this were a joke/ set ups. And his next fight is against Caleb Plant?? Come on that guy is such a fraudulent clown it’s a joke. Plant is a poser, he has zero chance against Canelo.

 

I'm no Canelo fan girl and you might as well stop watching boxing like you've stated cause you clearly only see what you want. If you had Saunders up 5 rnds you were blinded by your Canelo hatred.. I've had years of shitting on Canelo for the GGG fights which I though Canelo lost but I'm a boxing fan first. I score objectively and not cause of some bias **** like you.

There are 2 kinds of mad though? one, where it's just haters who hate because.... they are haters. Another, maybe me I guess, kinda hate/dislike all the extra stuff.

It's like this, when I see someone unfairly benefitting from corruption, not only do I dislike that, I also dislike that fighter celebrating like he actually did something and talking like he did something, when everyone knows they lost. Cullum Smith, I seen him get a gift against John Ryder, and after that I was ready to cheer when he lost. Same with many other fighters. It puts me off them completely.

The only time I give them a pass is when they give an immediate rematch. Look, I though Floyd Mayweather won against Castillo in the first fight, but it was close. I absolutely LOVE that 4 months later they had a rematch that Floyd won clearly. He cleared that up. It's all good after that.

 

I have GGG up 2-0, at worst 1-0-1 but he doesnt have much of a chance in a rubber match. The main is damn near 40 and has taken some more damage since.

 

The fan girls can be maddening at times. It really does put post fight polls into question when so many fans have biased glasses when they "watch" these fights. Sometimes I have to remind myself they are the reason boxing still exists because they were willing to pay the subscriptions even though they don't know what they are watching.

 

I agree, but you wouldn't be praising him if Floyd hadn't beaten him. You are boosting him just to boost your boy Floyds resume.

Listen canelo is great but billy was like a matador with a bull at times.
