Saunders won rounds 5-7 you moron, and 1 and 4 were close but Saunders did enough in both to take both.
So did the 22ft ring make a difference or not? Cause, it looks like Eddy's prediction was right on the money. If Canelo decides to force all future fights now at 16 or 18ft rings, will be continue to cry unfair?
Seriously, some of you don't know what you're watching. Billy Joe quite handily won rounds 5, 6, 7 and actually Canelo was looking very confused until he gave Saunders the eye injury. Billy was coming in strong into the 8th and if not for the injury he would probably would have nicked a few more rounds. Billy also did enough to win rounds 1 and 4...Canelo wasn't landing as much as you think - he landed some body but a lot were on the elbows.
Lol Canelo landed a peach of shot which caused the injury in the 8th. But to say he was completely in control is a joke, Billy came in strong in rounds 5 to 7 (he won these three rounds) and looked strong going into the 8th
Doesn't matter anyway saunders got trapped and got taken out. Really points mean nothing when you have already lost. One punch is all it takes to turn a fight
It went just a thought really with Saunders winning a few rounds but Canelo eventually getting the stoppage.
Canelo gets rounds scored for him by professional judges sitting at ringside because he lands hard, clean punches. It is as it should be imo. The commentators made a lot of noise about Saunders activity, but blocked and glancing jabs means **** all. It's actually doing damage that does.
Last viewing, yeah. I thought Tillis landed cleaner than BJS did and that Tyson waited until the last 30 seconds in most rds. And when there are quite a few close rounds such things tip the scales.
Yeah, I agree, it depends on the fight and the round in question. I'd say enough "glancing jabs" can win rounds in some contexts though. It gets subjective, of course, when we have to weigh quality against quantity.
You have no clue about boxing, dude. I bet that someone switches the channel and puts in the TV a curling match and you dont even notice. Go watch football again, please, do yourself a favor.
Yes, and of course Saunders landed som good ones as well. But I just felt that the commentators with the exception of Froch was a little bit too impressed by activity in of itself. But that will often be the case when one guy is the big favourite and the other guy is doing better than expected. After the third it looked like Canelo could really run away with it, but Saunders came back well until that uppercut landed.
First of all I said it was even and canelo was gaining control not that he had complete control so stop crying. Secondly no one respects your observations. I have left you off my ignore list for comedic reasons only.
