Anyone else think it looked too easy for Canelo?

    Agreed.

That's what I meant by it seemed inevitable.

So, what you're saying is different people have differing opinions?

    This is unusual?

It is a forum...and it would be very dull if everyone agreed, surely?

Hate to say I called it but a couple of days before the fight I said the weight of the worry of leaving the ring crying with a towel on his head like Broner would break the man. The more he tried the "Gypsy magic" and trash talk the worse it was for him. Sad to see another human being break down but he mentally is destroyed. I hope his family stick with him despite all the justified comments of him being "Debbie Harry" BJS.

Imo BJS won 3 rounds and was in the fight. Canelo body punching **** him up though, and BJS movement wasn't quite as good as I expected.

I agree with your analysis on the fight. I don't think he needs to go to 175 pounds at all. Those saying that just want him to lose to a much bigger man. He did not look his best against Kovalev though of course he closed the show.

Yeah, Canelo is the fighter I've gotten the most enjoyment out of watching for quite a while, but as p4p nr 1 fighters go he's not nearly as ahead of the pack as Whitaker or RJJ or even Mayweather were in their primes. All good that his fights are more competitive, though. Makes them more enjoyable to watch.

But he's deservedly nr 1 p4p, though. Loma is coming off a loss and Crawford hasn't fought a live body in ages, so other than perhaps Inoue I can't really se who else is in the discussion.

Lousy straw man argument. You just contradicted yourself.

I rather politely (by most sports forum standards) disagreed w/you, and you take me to task for not allowing differing opinions o_O I'd suggest you keep your post count low.

No? There were several rounds where Canelo couldn't even hit BJS.

Only haters and frankly idiots think Saunders was outboxing Canelo. The truth is the fine went exactly to plan for Canelo and Eddy Reynoso. Canelo was ahead by 6 rounds to 2 ahead of Saunders at the time of the stoppage 78-74 on my scorecard.

You were not full of ****. You analysed it correctly like I did in our pre-fight analysis.

Thought it looked "easy" (or like he could take Saunders out whenever he wanted) during rounds 5, 6, or 7...? :dunno

Canelo's countering made BJS fearful of sitting down on his punches. He fought like a dude screwing an ugly woman. Get in and out don't stick around to cuddle and talk about your thoughts. LOL

    Oh dear...you are clearly confused.

    How did I contradict myself?

You said it's weird that some people have BJS schooling Canelo while others, me specifically, have Canelo easily winning, and said the forum users seem "big polar".

I then asked you why you find it strange that different people have different opinions.

You then had a hissy fit and made a fool of yourself...and here we are.

I'd suggest you keep your post count non existent, as you clearly aren't mentally capable.

It's not that I want him to lose to a bigger man, it just seems to me that he's not going to go back to 160, and after Plant his options at 168 are limited.

Besides, can we not assume he would make the 175 limit without too much trouble?

It's not like he was actually 168 on the nose in the ring the other night.

The intervening hours after the weigh in would have seen him bulk up anyway, right?
