Nice spin on the narrative by Fury there. He's not wrong people will remember BJS quit and showed no heart in 30 years time.

Oh, if Fury loses badly to someone like Joshua, yeah, that would be bad.
WAY worse that BJS quitting to Canelo even.
    Disgraceful even, yes.

    Could be.
    I think Fury's better,
    But who knows.
IF AJ is the best, the division is crap.
But Fury is a fat waster slob, so the same applies either way.

I'm proud of them both though, as a Brit. The first time we've had two HWs ranked at the top.

My anger with BJS has gone now, apparently that eye injury can potentially blind him, Canelo was going to target that eye. Ideally I would have preferred the referee to stop the fight rather than the corner

I mean they absolutely were wrong. You are rewriting the narrative here. Fury and BJS didn’t claim that he would simply be competitive against Canelo and perhaps win a few rounds. They guaranteed that BJS would win and that he was willing to give his life to get that win. In reality, he lost and quit pretty much as soon as his eye was injured. So unless you have a different definition of the word “wrong”, they were absolutely wrong.

It never bothered me that BJS quit; that was the correct thing to do. And I don’t wish him any harm and hope his eye recovers. What bothers me is that he repeatedly criticized Dubois for taking a knee when he had the same injury, and he went on and on about how he would never quit and would have to be taken out in a stretcher. It just shows that guys like him who do the most talking tend to not be able to back it up.

BJS even before this fight was 0 for a lot of UK fans and european fans so he is and will be the same 0.
For me he was less actual than Yarde LOL.
Now ofc more less actual and I do not see reason to watch his fight vs Canelo even for free.
Such actual :nonono:pboxer for me he is or even was.
Now 0 belt and only loud mouth with no backup and loud talks?
Dude isn't even 1 % from old Bellew and he thinks he is interesting lad? Boring till death boxer like Canelo.

Name one Mexican who'll make Fury quit? LOL Ye, Keep dreaming fk head.. best HW on the planet, p4p is meaningless, & an excuse to elevate defective genetic midgets into a place that doesn't exist because the reality is the HWs are the top dogs. Enjoy your moment in the sun Canelo fanboys , i'll have mine when Taylor beats Ramirez.

And like I was saying earlier, I really don’t think people are hating on him for “quitting”. It is the way he behaves and all the bs he talked before the fight about never quitting, combined with all the criticism he had for Dubois for quitting when he broke his orbital bone, which rubs people the wrong way. No one is hating on him for “chasing his dreams” as Fury says.
