    Despite many believing that Saunders was ahead in the fight prior to the stoppage, the three judges did not see it this way. Glenn Feldman and Max DeLuca scored the fight 78-74 for Canelo, while Tim Cheatham had it 77-75, also to Canelo.

    I had ot 78-74 giving BJS the 1st and 5th or 6th.

    I agree with you. I was just thinking...I’d be curious to know if anyone else has an example of someone breaking their orbital bone but still winning the fight (other than Inoue).

    Saunders did some good things but was not ahead. It was flashy but not necessarily enough to win the close rounds. I had Canelo up by a round.

    You are spot on. I don’t like BJS as a personality. I find a lot of things he has done in the past and even during fight week despicable but I have never doubted his boxing ability and talent. I don’t wish any fighter serious injury. Even when I manage a fighter before their bouts my prayers are for my guy and his opponent to come out safe. Boxing is the utmost gladiatorial contest. Let’s all wish for Saunders recovery and future good health.

    Excellent post but time to stop the references to Clenbuterol especially as Saunders failed drugs tests with performance enhancing drugs detected in his system prior to the scheduled fight with Andrade.

    Brook has made excellent money particularly in the GGG fight and Spence fight which was in a stadium as well as Crawford fight. Brook did come back.

    But he did him no favors That interviewer asked him if he thought Saunder took a few rounds ? He Snapped "NO I won every round I won easily".
    He didnt as we all know lol but as we all suspected by the cards at the stoppage that the fix was in AGAIN!!! I hope the clowns that were calling Saunders a quitter, feel bad about it now

    He sustained the first injury in the GGG fight, so that wasn't part of a comeback. But, yeah, he had some big fights since then, but hasn't really been the sam I think.

    It was Ok till he zoomed off into his menswear commercial thats all he was on here for I'm amazed he was allowed to do it. I shut him off

    Banks are handing out under 1% on deposits. He's not living on interest. Plus how much money has he really made. Ok, enough to buy a new trailer. He has said he's bought some properties so that's good.

    Canelo won 6 out of the 8 rounds the only rounds BJS won he nicked them because Canelo allowed him to as he was setting him up. No fix was in. 2 of the judges had it 78-74 like I did at the time of the stoppage when Saunders was beaten to submission. No one needs to feel bad because the point was proven that Saunders won’t have the fortitude to last the fight. You typically just hate Canelo you will never give him credit. As Canelo would say “Get the **** outta here “. Lol sorry I could not resist .

    Saunders was still in the fight till that devastating hook landed he's shown no sign of quitting. He wasnt "beaten into submission" One devastating punch caused serious damage to his eye & that caused the stoppage
    What about Ginger haughty answer when that reporter asked him if Saunders took some rounds. He snapped "NO!! I won every round I won easily"!! We all know he lied lol
