It's funny because as we talk about the changing of the times with politics. Maybe boxing, the last manly sport, is going woke as well. :sisi1

I hope that never becomes true! :scared1

    I had 2, 4, 5, 6, 7.....but credit canelo for shattering his orbitol in the 8th.
Plant has to be licking his chops after watching a guy with half his speed, timing, and defense take 5 of 8 from canelo.

I'm a bit disappointed. I wanted BJS to take a sustained beating that his horrible persona deserved. Also pissed off that he never got put on his ass - he obviously would've had he come out for the next round but nevermind.

Yeah but he was definitely not in control by the end of the 7 except in your deluded little mind.

4567 were clear as day for bjs. I thought bjs outlanded him in the 2nd aswell but it was close. Just look at the judges scorecard. Canelo always has 2 judges in his pocket. What did the 1 non bias judge have it scored? It was prob 1 point either way.

Bjs turned the tide in round 4 and was in full control until he got stopped. Clear as day if you were paying attention and know what you are looking at.

BJS boxed great. Fanastic jab, Several times it looked like he was using Canelo's face as a speed bag.

It's your opinion and while I definitely disagree it's fine...the part where you lost me completely is when you said that Mannix had your same card. That's a surefire way to know that you are making some mistake

Fun fact, Callum Smith hit Canelo more than BJS did in the first 8 rounds.

Bear in mind that Canelo was barely twenty-three years of age and had a great attitude. Saunders, on the other hand, is thirty-one years of age and has a great attitude problem.

This was Billy Joe's big stand, and he went out like a man with one eye on the exit door. We'll see diminishing returns from this ciuccio from here on out. Best case scenario I can see for him is beating Eubank in an inconsequential rematch.

He's had a good professional career, in so much as there are plenty British boxers who will only dream of owning a Lonsdale belt outright, winning a European and getting hands on a world title strap — but it coulda/shoulda been more eventful/substantial from 2016 on, i.e. the business end of his ouevre.

The odds really were stacked against him that night compared to the really fair judgement BJS received.

Three of the judges only gave Jacobs 2 rounds in the first 8

One of the judges only gave Kovalev 2 rounds in the first 8

    Etc. Etc.

Tell me, how would you approach a fight knowing you can't win on the cards against an elite fighter who has the luxury to methodically load up on bombs knowing he has a safety net?
