What direction should Santos Saúl Álvarez Barragán's destiny take him now? And which of those options might actually pose a risk of him realistically losing for the first time in 8+ years?

Since I really want to see Andrade and Plant get violently KO'd. One of those two. Then he can face Beterbiev or Benavidez. Canelo-GGG III I have no desire to see again. Although I still think GGG cn do enough to edge it, he'll get screwed again, so what's the point?

Golovkin's looked like crap in recent fights. Sad to say, but Clenelo KOs Golovkin in a third fight.

I think it will definitely be Plant next. Canelo has talked several times about his desire to be undisputed at 168, and Plant is the only guy who remains in his way. After that, it’s tough to say what he does next. I’d really like to see him fight Joe Smith Jr.

Looking at it cynically, from the promoter's vantage - if you're Hearn, and by now, the next evening already, mention of a rematch has yet to drip from your mouth, you're probably looking to sweep the challenger under the rug quietly and never consider the high-risk and low-reward proposition of giving Saunders another chance. You want the highest clout for the least chance of the cashcow getting tipped over - so that's Plant or Andrade, unless you see ample decline in Golovkin lately to believe that Canelo might finally get a clear and non-controversial W, in which case that one is worth more than both of the others combined.

Beterbiev is crazy risk IMO, for yes a good deal of reward but gilding the lily, Canelo doesn't really need LHW, does he? If his train rolls to a stop at SMW nobody's going to be furiously demanding he continue upward to secure his legacy.

    I think
    He will fight

    plant
    GGG III
    Charlo
    Benavidez

in that order & if he does
It would be awesome & worthy of praise.

If he does one PBC fighter he'll probably do more than one. I'm guessing we'll get Plant and then two more picking between Benavidez, Charlo, and the 168 gatekeepers they have like Dirrell.

    I highly doubt there will be a Canelo/BJS 2.

I think people already are demanding he goes up again! Canelo is always gonna catch alot of criticism some fair, but alot of it unfair. The guy is 5'7-8" tall, he really has no business at 175, the fact he beat Kovelev shows how smart him and his team are, they saw an opening, and implemented a plan that worked.
They aren't just gonna fight at 175 so he can lose... That doesn't really make sense for him.
At some point you gotta say, ok, physically I can't compete at these higher weight classes.

Personally I'd like to see him absolutely clear out 168, I'm talking Plant, Benavidez, with some mandatories to stay undisputed, then Berlenga if he's still winning.
The likes of Andrade, Charlo, GGG, Bivol, etc can move to 168 if they want a shot.

Canelo could end up as the greatest SMW of all time if he stays there and fights the best.

Who knows though. I bet he beats plant and leaves, something tells me he doesn't want it with Benavidez.

Why GGG needs to move up or fight with cash cow Clenelo again?
It is already clear that if he will not finish Clenbuterol in distance, then he is not Floyd Jr to get 2 fair and honest cards vs Clenbuterlol kid. Each day he is going older chances to KO Clenbuterol decreases and Clenbuterol already had mistake with 36 y.o Floyd Jr, also all normal fans does know that GGG had been robbed vs Clenbuterol in first fight.

Clenbuterol should be his name and surname: Hometown Cards and ref. 2 nd surname: Cash Cow Lad.

BTW he a bit even likes me. Normally cherry picked and looks that is nice person.

Ok scratch GGG off the list.

0-1-1 I bet if GGG had the chance to fight Canelo again he would take it... Even at 168.
    He feels cheated.
