To the stupid comments saying he quit- his orbital bone was fractured in four places, he could not see, his corner rightly pulled him out of the fight, preventing him from suffering irreversible damage and possibly losing his sight.
Either back to 160 or retire in my opinion, there is nothing at 168 now. It will also depend on how that eye heals, a triple fracture doesn't sound great.

He proved he is more talented than any of the other Brits who faced Canelo He gave a good performance against the p4p number 1, won rounds and plenty had him ahead. He was undefeated before this fight, he's 31, one bad injury one loss and he should retire?! Nah If he can get himself back down to 160 and not lose confidence from this he's a very hard man to beat. Either at 160 it 168 he'd be likely to win another world title

Outside of the Eubank rematch I really don't see many other doors open to him to warrant the kind of pay day he and MTK would demand. He will have a contract with Hearn and Matchroom, beyond the Canelo fight but because BJS does not sell tickets, he would either have to take a substantial pay cut or be matched as an opponent against another DAZN fighter like Andrade, Golovkin or Jacobs to justify the payday. I'd be shocked if BJS walks away from the Canelo fight with anything less than £5 million and a ball breaking comeback fight against one of the other DAZN top names for less money than he could make fighting Eubank on Sky PPV is not something I can see either MTK advising him or BJS himself being willing to take. Unless he is forced into retirement due to the injury I think he will fight again, simply for the reason he will not want to go out like that, the manner in which he lost will be impacting mentally much more than physically, irrespective of how bad the injury is. Mentally he will be in a worse headspace than had he been knocked out in the first round.
Wow, that was a really good watch. He's seriously wrecked his face. That is a different injury than Brook's and Dubois's. How he didn't go down from that is just nuts, credit where it's due. He's been called a quitter but he had the nads to finish the round despite his face being caved in and not being able to see. I honestly don't see the point of discussing where he goes next. That's retired him lads. No way he comes back from that.
