Canelo won that fight, I had it 115-113 myself.

Canelo has improved, but yes a 36 year old Floyd doing that to Canelo was incredibly impressive.

Canelo was as old and more experienced that Lopez when he beat Loma, who was in turn younger and more prime than Mayweather.

I wouldn't call it a master class. Mayweather lost too many rounds and struggled too much for it to be a master class. Yes he did what he had to do to win, but I don't think we should just throw around terms like masterclass all willy nilly. Mayweather did OK vs Canelo, but it didn't rise to the level of a masterclass. If anything Canelo was putting a masterclass on Floyd in terms of how to feint an ATG out of his damn mind.

The 152 request was made by Canelo and his team so Leonard Ellerbe used it against them. Come fight night he had rehydrated to 168 pounds.

Not exactly, but that's the story that was told. Rehydrated to 168? Where'd you hear that?

And lets just say that you're right that he rehydrated to 168, did that give Canelo any kind of advantage? Wouldn't all that water weight have slowed down his punch speed and make it harder for him to land on Floyd? It's not like Canelo was leaning on Floyd in clinches where that water weight would make any real difference.

He always rehydrated that high when he fought at Light Middleweight. In the old days when you had to weigh in on the morning of the fight Canelo could never have fought at Light Middleweight.

Could you believe how many Alvarez fans showed up in Dallas over the weekend? 73,000+ pretty amazing how popular he is. According to this forum, you wouldn't think he had any fans in the whole world lol. His drawing power is otherworldly and totally inconsistent with the view of him on this forum. The Saunders fight and the massive turnout taught us how internet forums can create a bubble and an echo chamber that creates a fake view of the world that is totally different than what the world really is.
