Which Brit disgraced us the least against Canelo?

Spot on Khan boxed magnificently.It was like a small welterweight against a big middleweight

 

Yeah it just weren’t right. Khan is a light-welter and Canelo is naturally a middleweight.

 

Khan always had incredible heart.

 

Well Khan did the best because he was schooling Canelo before the KO.

 

Khan, for sure. Very much dislike him but he gets big credit for taking the fight, even if he didn't survive very long.

 

In terms of showing balls, khan hands down.

People always forget the fact that Khan is a world class boxer, he’s just got a glass chin. Although an iron chin wouldn’t suffice against the mighty Canelo.

 

None disgraced us, they were just not good enough.

If you want to word it as "who performed best against Canelo" then I'd say Khan.

He gave Canelo all sorts of issues before Canelo timed him with a great shot, also we have to remember Khan was coming up two weights.

But those early rounds, Khan looked a little special.

 

Matthew Hatton put in a real effort against "baby Canelo" so you have to take your hat off to him there.

Liam Smith impressed me against Canelo. He came to fight and put up a far better fight than his brother Callum did.

Billy boxed well and in my opinion was building momentum in the prior 2-3 rounds before he had his eye socket smashed to bits.

Khan showed huge cajones going up in weight like he did... the true epitome of "more balls than brains" as every man and his dog knew what was going to happen there.

Rocky gets slated and I do get why but at the end of the day he wasn't going to turn an opportunity like that down and was simply ridiculously outmatched and outgunned. Levels in boxing as they say...

 

Khan got KO'd brutally in just the 6th round. , looking like he was DEAD on the floor. He couldn't even last half the fight with Canelo.
He got blasted out the second Canelo wanted it over. Canelo was just warming up, slow start , then he started timing him in the 4th and 5th, Then the second he lands a decent shot, BOOM it's over!!!

I can’t quite understand how it can be construed he did the best, when others lasted the distance or much longer, and he had the most conclusively brutal defeat. Winning a few poxy early rounds on speed is meaningless if you get brutally KO'd soon after.

If BJS hadn't have suffered that injury I'm sure he'd be winning the poll now, he proved he is the most overall talented out of all these Brits that faced Canelo, but I suppose he sort of quit, so for me it has to be Liam Smith.

Yeah exactly Khan did actually the worst. All the others at least didn’t get blasted out the way he did. It was horrific the way Canelo just timed one perfect shot and out he went. All the others didn’t get banged out like he did

 

I see your point too big strong guy....its a good point....but im looking at the rest of his career .....it was covered in bravery.....the Crawford fight he did play act and quit...and it was a payday he didnt deserve....but the last 5 years hes another "brand" fighter like bjs and eubank jnr....less is more for those guys
