Anyone who doesn't agree that Fury is ducking this fight (and wasting several more months of his career just to pretend to be waiting) must be deluded, I think that's what he means. That's his view. Anyone who doesn't blame Fury for everything is a "Fury ass licker". Fury, Arum, Warren, etc. are as full of **** as anyone in boxing. But it's pretty clear that they have been waiting for months now to see if this thing is possible. If that wasn't the case, they would have made some drama and excuse and bailed out months ago, not wait until May ! I hope the fight gets done, and we can all stop bickering and we can all raise a glass to Eddie Hearn, and look forward to the fight.
Makes me laugh people saying Arum and Frank dont want it too. So basically 2 boxing promoters dont want the biggest payday of their careers? Makes sense.
On SSN last night they're still saying that the contracts are ready and an announcement is imminent for AJ - Fury. Have I missed something ??
Jesus what a division, Parker and Ruiz Jnr winning last night whilst showing everyone that they will never be World Champions again but still weirdly in the mix. Chisora hanging around like a bad smell, Joshua and Fury seemingly taking an eternity to be agreed, everyone scared of the threat that Usyk poses and probably just waiting for him to age, I don't know what's going on with Wilder, then there's the Melonhead who thinks everyone is scared of him. Maybe just do a Heavyweight Royal Rumble and get it all over with in a night.
The latest has the date pegged as August 14th ! It probably will end up being September at this rate, if at all.
I'm not sure Warren knows anything about anything. Well, yeah, obviously Fury wants the money guaranteed. Everyone needs the money guaranteed. This should be easy to sort IF the deal is legit. If they cannot guarantee through legit banks, then the deal isn't legit. No one's signing up for this fight at "$100 million guarantee" or whatever, if it "might turn out to be $20 million". Warren's just stating the obvious. I think it's more likely Warren's just jealous Hearn's getting this done.
