If you want to know what their respective fight night weights were you could always actually watch the fight or check the tale of the tape graphic instead of leaving it up to Serge to put in the work because that was back when Clen's fight night weights used to be announced which hasn't been the case for a very long time. He was coming in as high as 172 against Trout and reputedly 174 against Angulo 7-8 years ago and he's much bigger, heavier, stronger and more powerful now since he moved up to 160 and going on his special diet and he's even more so now.

First thing Clen says in that bottom video is he wanted to beat him and be the best

    But apparently he wasn't trying

He'd been on a rabbit food diet for months and on portions which wouldn't have been able to sustain an actual rabbit

Of course he was trying, but he was not going balls to the wall now was he? Just look at how he fought the first half of the fight. Very patient, waiting for Floyd to lead, feinting Floyd, jabs to the body, etc. He never really threw caution to the wind or tried to bull rush Floyd.

Because he was being smart, he showed a lot of poise in there vs Floyd.

He was drained to death vs Floyd. It's clear as day.

It depends against some fighters it would be an advantage size but against Floyd No because Floyd is a master. Floyd taught him a lesson which made Canelo re-dedicate himself to his craft. As gifted as Floyd is he dedicated himself which meant there were no off nights.

This my friends is why abortion should be legal globally :ohno

Holy ****. You can't be serious. Weird, last time I checked, Floyd won 9+ rounds on 90% + independent scorecards. :wanker

In the biggest fight of his career? He didn't go 'balls to the wall'? :wanker

Ever thought that maybe, just maybe, Canelo has a habit of going gunshy after he misses with his shots - to avoid exhausting himself in the process. If you'd ever boxed, you would understand this. He did it against Floyd, Khan, GGG, and most recently the mid-rounds against Saunders.

'Being smart' in losing almost every round? Well, I'll be damned. :wanker

He was not leaning in on him because Floyd would not allow it.

You're deflecting. What happened in round 10 happened. Canelo very clearly won the battle of the ropes, by literally teaching Floyd how to fight off the ropes. In Round 10, Floyd was so unsuccessful trying to land on Canelo with Canelo on the the ropes that he eventually backed away. Then Floyd backed up to the ropes himself and what happened? He attempted to try and do what Canelo just did to him and dodge punches but then got hit with a 12 punch combo lol. Then Floyd moved off the ropes real quick. Canelo absolutely dominated the ropes sequence in the 10th round and this is not even debatable.
