    Exactly.

Its rather strange to see the power of promotion. I've heard Golovkin fans claim that he would beat everyone from SRR to Hagler, to even HWs LMAO! Yet every time he fights a no hoper his fans find an excuse as sorry as it is to justify it, and every time he avoids ducks another fighter, I've heard his fans say there's no need because Golovkin would win to the fighters calling him out are not serious and even some other crazy excuses like Golovkin has earned his right to easy fights because of everything he has contributed to boxing.lol

If you think that Golovkin fans had posted threads and asked: who from LHW or CW might had Hagler beat up etc alike, you are wrong.
Not alone there " just " about SMW boxers.
While Hagler size is known for me and I do not post such bull**** questions.

Golovkin's hype train is extremely similar to Margarito's in 2006. He had the exact same management. Golovkin's team did a far better job than Arum in this case simply because they targeted social media, which was extremely smart and the result is obvious. They attract an ocean of simple minded people that truly genuinely believe he would give the likes of prime Tyson and SRR hell. However, when it came time to actually pay(the joke Lemieux fight being on PPV), which was clearly a test on their part, even the simple minded didn't pay.

As far as contribution is concerned, there is literally none as far as brag worthy achievements. All they did was contribute to disaster. Now others will also attempt a similar route to cash out as much as possible without taking any risks. This guy's biggest win is Kell Brook for God's sakes and he still got stiffed out from a single blow in the first round.

Its funny seeing all these Golovkin fanatics **** on Canelo by criticizing his opponents but fail to look at Golovkin's resume. Then these same fans talk about how little Cotto was but **** on Cotto for not fighting Golovkin, then they **** on Canelo for having close fights against top level opponents but fail to realize that Golovkin has never dominated an elite or top fighter the way Canelo has. Golovkin's best win is Lemieux FFS. lol

I don't understand why they don't give up on GGG who always promised to fight the best but never kept any of his promises to his fans.

Yeah, that it was a bit embarassing when Ward took him up on that and all of sudden only 164 was acceptable for GGG:s team.

I remember hearing that N'Dam turned down a fight. Quillin didn't seem to want any part of Golovkin, either.

I wrote a long article detailing Golovkin's career awhile back and the one thing that I found was that NO middleweight in history spent as much time as he did as the #1 ranked middleweight without getting a chance at the Middleweight Championship. He spent 4+ years trying to earn his shot, while Martinez, and then Cotto, and then Alvarez (at least briefly) looked the other way. If he had been giving his rightful shot at Sturm or Sylvester, or both, back in 2008/9, there would be no conversation to be had. Golovkin would have been able to carve out a great career for himself. Instead he was stonewalled and his detractors have to resort to soundbites and fake contracts to place the blame on him. We know Golovkin was at least on par with Alvarez at 35, so it stands to reason that the prime version was more exceptional.

GGG is an obviously very talented fighter, but he should have went up to 168 to fight against Froch and Ward for legacy fights. He should have fought Chavez Jr. for a money fight as well. He'd be in a much better position with his legacy and finances as well.

Honestly that's when I stopped being a fan. I had been waiting for GGG to fight a live body since he broke into the world scene, and when opportunity came knocking he did not answer.

    Froch was already retired.

He would have gotten less criticism and a lot more praise if he kept his word and moved down to 154 and moved up to 168 to fight top level opposition.

And arguably GGG never lost to Canelo, but anyone who has that opinion is an idiot in your eyes.

Maybe he was, I never saw those fights. But IsaL suggested they were wins, which indicates he felt they were the wrong decision. So he should maybe drink a nice tall glass of shut the **** up when it comes to GGG fans who think likewise about the Canelo fights.

Or he had a case of the dumb-dumbs and misremembered losses as wins. One of the two.

    Why not?
Ward had been supposed to fight vs Beterbiev and insted of this he had retired while being 33? y.o.
I do not take this as something bad for him or his resume.
GGG isn't enough large for SMW, not alone LHW.
