You Aj fans are overrating Ruiz cause he beat Aj but the truth his Ruiz lost to Parker, the same Parker who is equal to past it gatekeeper Chisora and in addition to that a beyond shot Chris Arreola gave Ruiz serious problems to the point where he avoided trading with him. He's not that good. Jesus.

Lewis lost to Mccall and Rahman but he was extremely overconfident. In both rematches he dominated. Lewis didn't get on his bike for 12 rounds like Aj and jab his way to a boring decision. Lewis put the work on both their asses in dominating fashion.

Shannon Briggs was even faster than Ruiz and had a MUCH HIGHER KO ratio in his prime, but that doesn't mean he's some powerful force who would give heavyweights nightmares like you guys make Ruiz out to be. Ruiz is overrated. I had people telling me he'd beat Ibeabuchi just because he's "faster" LMAO. Timing beats speed.

Ruiz could beat Ray Mercer if he caught him on a bad night but the Ray Mercer that wiped out Morrison, gave Holyfield issues and pushed Lewis to his limit beats any version of Ruiz

 

No he was quicker than Ruiz look at these highlights for me. He looked slow when he countered Lewis but he was trying to be all his bodyweight into his shots at that point. Briggs had faster hands than Ruiz in his prime. Ruiz isn't even much faster than Tua. Its incredible how overrated his handspeed is, people even said he's faster than Ali it's insane.

Briggs in his prime during the 90s had the faster hands with his best feat of handspeed being against Sherman Griffin. Ruiz is better but he doesn't have faster hands
