Pretty sure you don’t know what lateral movement is. If you did you would have watched the KOs and said ok you got me. Instead you come back with some nonsense about a cut received by an elbow. As if that had anything to do with lateral movement.
As far as the outside game goes. It’s such a low boxing iq question is actually impressive. It’s like saying prove to me larry Holmes has a good jab and I tell you just watch any fight and you come back and say I haven’t given any examples. You’re not a dumb guy. I’ve had conversations with you. Convinced you’re bored and trolling or maybe drunk. Some posters like the drink a bit much

Contrary to popular fantasy i'd hardly say he schooled him for the first half of the fight.

You are a new poster. As I understand it you came on here to call me a life time idiot (totally uncalled for by the way) and you would like to remain anonymous. But what the hell did I ever do to you?

Would Mickey Goldmill ( Rocky Balboa's trainer) tell Marciano, He Will Knock You Into Tomorrow Rock.? Lol.

I'm just stating common sense. Why would his right hand which was one of the greatest weapons in the history of the ring be in Marciano's own words "nothing"? Look at his KO% during his comeback. Did he show power in his right since coming back? He KOd Savold with his lefthook.

Kenny was a bit green. He did avenge that loss.

He decked Agramante with his right in round 2. The right hand was still potent. Just slower to get off.
Watch round 2 of this fight.

I wouldn't say he schooled him, but he made Rocky very uncomfortable. Marciano didn't look good in this fight, though he stopped Louis in brutal fashion of course.

    Exactly my point.

Marciano went quote OK given where his career was at and Joe's experience. Louis was a mild favorite remember.

Okay, so you're just speculating injury.

I've given my thoughts on why I think Louis used the right less in his comeback. As to why Marciano called it "nothing"...I really don't listen to these guys much, boxers are all over the place in their opinions.

Savold was hurt by a right cross described as "terrific hard" before being finished by a left hook.

Louis failed to stop just three men in his comeback. I'm not gonna puke up boxrec stats but Brion, Bivins, and Omelio all have strong loss to ko ratio. Brion I think was only stopped once in 11 losses. These are cagey guys. Louis was not aggressive, he was boxing very conservatively against survivor minded opponents behind his jab.

Louis turned up the aggression against Savold because he was too slow to getaway from Louis and a top rating was at stake so it was worth the risk. Of course Louis of old stops everyone because he was fast, young, and aggressive in every bout.

Lateral movement is using angles and footwork to maneuver around the opponent rather than simply charging forward in a straight line or following them around the ring.

So once again, I'll wait patiently for you to tell me when Rocky does this.

As for fighting on the outside, you're saying I can watch any Rocky fight and see him fighting on the outside effectively?

Which one? Is it the Don C fight where he stands right in front of his opponent? The Louis fight which took place at close range 99% of the time? The Walcott fight where he couldn't cutoff the ring to save his life and followed Walcott around? Which one?

How many times must someone state which fights to watch? Are you high? The KOs of Charles 2 and Lastarza 2. Last time I’ll state this for you everyone else reading this thread read it ten times already. And lateral movement is left to rihht or right to left. Not necessarily different angles which is different. Either or Marciano moves affectively. If you don’t see excellent lateral movement in those knock outs you’re a liar. Or don’t really know what your talking about. Once again I’m TELLING you to look at those two fights knock outs. And yes watch any Marciano fight and you can see he has no problems being on the outside or Inside. With those trex arms there wasn’t much of a middle.

Watch this fight.... He goes entire rounds not throwing a right, certainly not a straight right against a aged opponent at the end of the line who had been KO'd 11 times. There are so many openings with Savold moving to his left, hand down and Louis just lumbers with his right hand by his jaw, flicking the jab or hook... It's pathetic.
