He keeps his whole HW power? I figured that meant relative.

Then I would say there are probably HW journeymen who beat Floyd.

No I understand completely, clearly you're underrating and undervaluing all of the fighters skillsets that I listed. Floyd struggled with certain styles, styles that many of the ones I listed excel at. Only they're far more well rounded and accomplished than the many of the ones Mayweather struggled with. It's not as cut adn dry as you seem to think it is.

Floyd overcame every style he fought including south paws, taller fighters, faster boxers, stronger guys etc. He beat 23 world champions. His ring generalship and intangibles were next level. I know what all these guys bring to the table.

Every style? He never faced a Hearns with a jab that long and fast, he nevder faced a Benitez or a Duran, these guys were awesome.

I said every style he fought. You forget I mentioned Hearns as one of those who would be the most difficult. Mind you Hearns at 147 and 154 is a problem for anyone in history.

Yes I think Duran is the one I would make a big favourite v May.

May struggled most with marauding styles but never faced that style with genuine guile, ATG head movement and power.

In his prime (130 version) only Roy Jones gives him 50-50 fight

Floyd has a history of defeating that type of style at his best and when not at his best. So I do imagine him out boxing Duran. He won’t make the mistake Sugar Ray Leonard made in the first fight in Montreal.

The fact we are discussing this type of post is an indication of Floyd’s greatness.

Floyd didn`t fight any fighter with the ability of Duran, he was an offensive monster with brilliant head moveent and deceptively quick hand speed.

He fought many offensive fighters very good Mexican style assassin. To many to list however none as good as Duran obviously.

Calzaghe (speed, stamina and workrate) Jones (speed, elusiveness, reflexes in his prime and power), Tyson (speed and power, of course) and Usyk (Olympic gold medallist, speed, elusiveness) would all have a decent chance, maybe Fury, Golovkin and Toney too.

    Floyd likely beats the rest.
